Everyday my girl (woman) crush on Michelle Obama grows.
She looked divinely elegant earlier today when she was spotted with her husband Barack Obama, as they arrived at Stansted Airport near London.
The couple were enroute to France for a G8 summit.
Michelle wore a Peter Som Fall 2010 pink ombré jacquard sheath dress and coat.
I love the brooch detail which holds her coat together.
Minus the white gloves, I think her accessories have been impeccable and perfectly complement each look during this trip.
The First Lady opted to match her patent pumps with her look, plus she added a navy tote with gold hardware.
A chic updo and drop earrings completed the look.

Outfits like this make me proud to be an American! She looks amazing! So chic, classy, and elegant. I love the color,I love the shoes,I love it ALL. Well done FLOTUS!
Dazzle – you are so right. She looks great. What a wonderful outfit that looks fab despite the hurried / windy appearance of the day. Luis will probably think it adds poundage, but I think it does just the opposite!
She looks fantastic. I love the addition of the brooch. Such a regal woman.
Why is she called FLOTUS?
She looks BEYOND chic here – I’d be proud to be an American too
First

Love it
Her arm candy is the POTUS, of course.
Right…;)
lol thanks guys
xx
FLOTUS=First Lady of the United States
thx,i was wondering abt FLOTUS as well
No problem on explaining FLOTUS. I must admit I first ‘heard’ it from the fabulous Jim Shi!
Tres chic! She looks very classy.
ditto
I don’t like her taste for bags and coats, for me her bag doesn’t match the coat. Know I understand why she opted not to wear always a bag…
Don’t attack me, I do like the dress!!
I see what you mean about the bag, but I like that it doesn’t match. I like the contrasting colors. Then again, my apartment looks like a circus exploded with the different colors, so …
Now I’m curious about your apartment!!!
I like the bag. I think it coordinates with the trim color of the dress.
I love this outfit , the colour, the coat, even the broach. Trouble is I don’t like it on her. it is too short and looks a bit small for her frame. I think she looks clunky not elegant.
PS hate the colour of the shoes
i agree with you on the shoes. I wish she would have chosen darker shoes to go with the dress.
Otherwise i love this outfit. the colour is stunning and i like the ombre effect.
I think she, like many a Hollywood Red Carpettier, forgets to pull her dress down after sitting. It looks a bit bunchy and I bet if she had pulled it down, it would be longer and less tight looking.
I think she hunches a bit, and that results in the clunky look. Probably a habit developed because of her height. In other pictures the dress fits fine and the length is good.
This a good look. The colors are divine on her. I wish she didn’t do matching coats though.
By far my favorite look of hers this trip. I love it.
Looove!
Wow, she really looks fantastic.
FC, there is something i really want you to see, it is the new cover of teen vogue, i really think you will be shocked to see who it is “suppossed” to be in the cover.
Well, i hope u take a loot at it.
greetings.
ok I will try to find it
ok:)
I loooove the color of her dress,She looks perfect.
Love the whole outift. Not too sure if the bag goes but despite that she looks fantastic.
love the matching dress and coat. LOVE the bag!
michelle obama SHINES in color. i don’t know whether to scream with delight or to cry with pride. she’s really making us americans — and our homegrown designers — look good.
I totally agree. I’ve been around to see a lot of First Ladies, and not since the iconic Jackie have we had one with such a varied, interesting and often stunning wardrobe. Michelle is a wonderful representative of our country.
Well Michelle and Jackie O were really the only young First Ladies who could actually get away with being fashionable and not have people say they dress too young.
She looks amazing. Wish she’d worn this to the palace instead.
I admit that thought occurred to me as well–and I really liked what she wore to the palace, unlike many other commenters. This is a very sophisticated look and would have been
very appropriate
I would love to see Shoerazzi do a shoes she should have worn for this outfit.
I really like her outfit, but I prefer the colors of the runway dress and I would have preferred her dress without the dark hem (I can’t explain it in english, I hope you’ll understand what I mean).
I usually don’t like ombre colors but this outfit I really like.
Hmm….adore the color. I think this is my fav from her, so far.
her bag looks like a Fendi Peekaboo.
One of the best looks she has ever worn. Thank you for featuring this FC. When I saw this I couldn’t wait to read what you thought about it.
I think the coat in the same color is a bit too much.
do any body knows the brand name of this navy tote bag ?
