Halle Berry was also honored at the 2011 FiFi Awards in New York City tonight.
She took home the ‘Celebrity Fragrance of the Year Award’ for her portfolio of Coty-backed scents which includes ‘Halle by Halle Berry’, ‘Halle Pure Orchid’ and her newest scent ‘Reveal’.
The actress revealed plenty on the red carpet wearing a Halston cut-out dress from the Spring 2011 collection.
Halle never met a LBD she didn’t like.
On this occasion her dress has super sexy cut-outs.
Many of us wouldn’t dare wear this dress, but then most of us don’t have her slammin’ body unfortunately.
Black isn’t boring on this occasion, especially when Halle has made the cut-out which is accented with gold tone hardware even wider than it appeared on the model.
Gold earrings, a black clutch and black strappy Christian Louboutin ‘Anna’ sandals completed her look.

Am I the only one who is really bored with Halle’s insistence on wearing the same pair of strappy black sandals to everything? I think they are the same ones Jennifer Aniston wears in silver all the time. She is stuck in a sandal time warp.

I totally agree, and it’s not about being conservative, it’s a matter of good taste. The runway version is interesting and beautiful, she reduced it in to a tacky dress. Also, you don’t need to have a stunning body to wear this, you just need a toned belly, and it’s not that hard, I think. Boring sandals, as usual.

I’m a woman in my 40′s and I agree. You don’t have to bare your (admittedly gorgeous!) belly to be sexy. At our age, it reeks of desperation.

I think Halle look beautiful, but with the photo of the model beside it’s difficul to say good things about the changes Halle did to the outfit. Without see the runaway picture Halle look good, but after look to the runaway model where the dress look so classy, Hally ruined all the look.
It’s so funny to look at the runaway model without acessories look so much better than Halle with all that bad acessories.

This just seems like a cry for attention. It’s like she’s saying “I want to show off my body parts because I want everyone to talk about how hot my body is for my age”. She should tone it down. She’s a beautiful woman. She should go for classier looks.

I don’t get her style! The dress in the runway version looks so modern and elegant but on Halle it looks so cheap and outdated.
The dress looks classy with the straight waist like on the runway, but looks cheap with the dropped waist, shame. Her trusted sandals are a boring choice but they do go very well with the outfit.

I prefer the runway version. Her version looks try to hard. I feel I have seen her in this outfit over a 100 times. She needs to switch things up a bit.
Keep your bellybutton out of sight in your 40s. The dress looks very sexy on the model…but in a much more subtle way…and it looks very elegant!
