Best Black On Black Award
Kylie Minogue took time out of her US tour to attend the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last night.
She looked fabulous as always wearing an Alexander McQueen embellished silk-tulle, organza and satin dress with signature cut out shoulders from the Spring 2011 collection.
It’s a shame that the intricate beads, buttons and sequins details are not more clearly visible on Kylie’s dress, but that gorgeous smile more than makes up for it.
Black Christian Louboutin ‘Change of the Guard’ fringes sandals and Lucy Hutchings jewels completed her look.

I don’t like the hair or the shoes.
Hate the shoes. Those hefty booties KILL this dress. Murder it in the dark of the night like a hefty ninja.
I love this look. It is perfect for the occassion. My only gripe (and I have it with SO many women in the biz) is that I feel it’s too young for her. But then I feel like Kylie always dresses too young for her age. A great body doesn’t always equal youth.
Yep — the heavy shoes totally ruin the dress. The dress looks light & airy, which is hard to achieve with black lace, of all things. Adorable and charming. And then you look down at her feet and thud. Terrible. The trend is shoe fashion right now is deplorable.
Sienna Miller also wore this dress back in Feb.

she looks incredible from the ankles up, but the shoes ruin it slightly for me. i wish she had worn the louboutin “very mix” pumps instead something to add some sparkle to the outfit.

I usually hate these heavy bootie things with a lacy dress too, but I think she sells it for this event. I think she is one of the best dressed at this event–Kylie, Rihanna and Nicole Kidman
I don’t like peep-toe booties. I don’t get them. Probably never will.
As much as I don’t like them, I think that they go with the edginess of the dress.
I like heavy shoes with a shorter dress. I like this look a lot – I kind of feel like it’s the look Fergie tried (and failed) to have.
