Fergie In Hervé Léger by Max Azria Atelier – 2011 Billboard Music Awards

Not Those Heavy Pumps Again Award
Fergie got fully into the spirit of the dressing for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards.

I love that she always dares to be different.

The singer wore a Hervé Léger by Max Azria Atelier dress which appears to be the love child of two looks from the Spring 2011 and Fall 2011 collections.

The harness with gold tone hardware gives the look an edge, whilst the smoky eyes give her a sultry vibe.

Fergie styled her dress with an Alexander McQueen classic skull fringed leather box clutch, Stephen Webster jewels and black Christian Louboutin Daffodile pumps which are way too heavy for this look.

I’m not quite sold on the lighter hair colour.

I suppose it’s okay for the event, but I think it’s kind of the un-cute version of Kylie’s outfit from the same RC.

This is an acceptable red carpet or stagewear choice. What ruins it for me is the makeup. Makes it look like she’s just breezing by the carpet so she can get on stage.

FINALLY a good critical about Fergie, always been hateful and jelous of her, she is really stylish and a complet fashionista! This is BTOTW without a doubt!

I think she looks fabulous. Fergie has a rock n’ roll feel to her so she can get away with more things than other girls on the red carpet. Even those shoes. Overall, I think the blond hair, the raccoon eyes, the huge shoes all work on fabulously on Fergie because she rocked it.

it’s a heavy look in general. Too much for me.

Tacky as usual, for me. Why didi C. Louboutin design those terribly ugly, heavy, unflattering, vulgar shoes? Why???

the dress would have been sexier if she had just stuck to one dress instead of getting a hybrid of both. as for the shoes *shakes head*

omg thank you! i know each dress was beautiful on its own and in that color because black makes it look trashy imo

      • Carolina May 23, 2011 at 22:33 #

I mean the dresses are beautiful separately lol

Too much going on. It literally looks like two dresses fused together.
The shoes look like horse hooves.
I like the hair and the make-up.
She should have stuck with one or the other for the dress.

Am I the only one who hates this? Finds it trashy? This is an awful look. Go back to wearing Emilio Pucci and maybe Marchesa.

I think her dress was one of the more interesting ones of the night. No so fond of the shoes though!

I actually the shoes are very fitting here.

This is one of my favorite looks last night. She got it exactly right for the event. I love the edgy, sexy dress and black pumps. And her smoky eyes were perfection (take note Gwen Stefani). I like the lighter hair on her. Though she did look incredible with it dark.

agreed! I’m usually not a fan of her, but here she looks perfect!
