Roberto ‘I Am The Party’ Cavalli opened his first boutique at 67 Boulevard de La Croisette during Cannes Film Festival yesterday, and he threw a lavish cocktail party on the beach followed by a dinner party on his yacht to celebrate.
For the cocktail party the celebs opted to wear cocktail dresses.
Bar Refaeli and Rosario Dawson opted for sexy embellished Cavalli minis with nude pumps, whilst Elisabetta Canalis wore an asymmetrical Cavalli LBD with a sheer embellished top.
For the boat party the stars opted for long flowing gowns.
Brooke Shields wore a black Cavalli gown with a vibrant floral print which has been worn before by Solange Knowles.
Alessandra Ambrosio glowed in a creamy lace-up gown from Cavalli’s Spring 2011 collection
Sonam Kapoor wore a nude embellished draped Cavalli gown which Heidi Klum wore last year.

Didn’t think I would ever see the day when Solange Knowles looks better in a dress than Brooke Shields.
I don’t like any of these dresses, quite vulgar, I would say, some of them also look cheap.
I also think these dresses would be right for Las Vegas.
Agree with Emi. I am not a Cavalli fan in general but Sonam fares the best out of the lot. Or maybe it’s just her amazing hair which is saving the look.
I like Alessandra Ambrosio’s creamy gown most, but just “like”, no more.
