Penelope Cruz smoldered on the red carpet last night for the “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Madrid Premiere.
She opted to wear yet another Armani Privé gown, this time it was black.
The black elegant gown with a black floral lace sleeves with the same detail embroidered onto the bodice showcases what a fine figure of a woman she is.
A black satin Swarovski clutch and silver jewels completed her look.
Which Privé gown do you prefer?

The Munich one! It was something different.
I love them both but she was so radiant in hot red! My vote goes to the red gown for making her stand out!
Really like this – getting a very Catherine Zeta Jones vibe but she was just spectacular at the ‘Munich’ Premier! xxx
ditto…
For me , this looks has a Sophia Loren vibe.
I agree about the Munchen look. She was stunning.
I was thinking exactly the same. The Munchen look was stunning, new and very flattering. This is very Sophia Loren, and it’s not positive.
More like Monica Bellucci.
She looks AMAAAAZING~
something about her overall look is very matronly :S i prefer the munich look
I completely agree. Not that she doesn’t wear the gown well, but it seems better suited to an older woman.
i totally agree. The top is stunning but then it goes on in a black boring skirt……and it becomes matronly.
the red one was much better.
She looks gorgeous, but the Munich première gown definitely wins.
nothing compares to that red liquid goodness.
Of course the Munich gown is 20 times better. I think someone is going to kill me, but this dress makes her look fat! This dress is so so similar to KAte Middleton wedding dress, but in black!
I think you are being a bit too harsh. She did just have a baby.
I said “this dress makes her look fat”, it’s the fitting of the dress that make her figure look so full. In Munich, in a Stella McCartney dress in Cannes she proves that she has her amazing body body back. But she tends to choose dress that are so unflattering….
I definitely prefer the Munich dress. She looked amazing in that dress. This one is not bad – but now that I have seen her in the Munich dress, I want her to have that kind of impact every time she hits the red carpet!
gorgeous. please take note salma hayak this is who you show the “twins” without them being the main attraction.
Salma’s are much bigger though and she’s short so she’s much harder to dress than Penelope. I think Salma does a good job of dressing around her assets. It’s someone like Mariah Carey who is totally lost on how to do that.
Penelope is short, too, do you remember the time of her very fake relationship with Tom Cruise? She was shorter than him with heels.
i never did get that pairing.
For such a beauty, this dress is matronly.
This is snoozeville for me. i have seen sooooo many gowns that look like this over the years. Sleep time.
This dress is nice, but how many times can Penelope wear the same kind of dress? I’m just bored of this look.
The other Prive look was definitely better.
She looks beautiful in both dresses. I think each dress was perfectly chosen for and capture the essence of the cities in which they were worn. The very modern Armani for Munich and the softer, lace dress for Madrid. It’s kind of like a mantilla. Perfect choices for each city.
Munich wins for sure. She is boring in this look.
it’s like a slinkier, sexier black version of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.
She stole Monica Bellucci’s dress! Monica Bellucci always wears a dress like this, except in D & G.
I actually really like this dress. She reminds me of Paz Vega though
