Rachel McAdams is back in New York City after her brief Cannes adventure.
She joined her co-stars on the red carpet last night for the screening of her new movie, “Midnight in Paris” at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room.
Sporting retro curls and coral lips the actress wore a Louis Vuitton ivory silk leopard jacquard gown.
Rachel made full use of the thigh-high split in her skirt, which is sexy until you reach the floor.
Seriously I used to wear black pumps like to interviews.
Would some sexy silver strappy sandals to complement her jewels been too much to ask?
The shoes ruin what would’ve been a perfect look for me which is so in tune with the theme of her movie.

For some reason, I don’t totally mind them.
But yeah, strappy heels would have made this look amazing.
She’s soooo overposing in the first pic.
I’m not really impressed by this look.
YOU ARE NOT VICTORIA BECKHAM!! I’m so tired of celebs showing high splits so they can think are in a trend. Okay your dress have a high split but pose like a human being!
The makeup is WOW,the dress doesn’t fit her~
She is having fun, but the dress is too long.
The shoes mess this up for me.
Leave her alone!
I rather get overposing than meh poses on the red carpet… That said, I agree about the shoe choice and that the dress is too long for her!
Why black? Why do celebs think black is good?
If you have to wear pumps, why not silver? Seriously, there’s not even black on the dress.
I love the look other than the pumps. Red sparkly peep toes or strappy colored sandals would’ve been fab for me. But I love Rachel- she is sooooo sweet in person!
i think this look i tooooo much for a new york screening. and i don’t really like the dress, there’s nothing new about it.
i deff. expected more from rachel
Other than the shoes, it’s a nice look, but I don’t really see Rachel in this look. To me, she looks more like Courtney Love on a good day or something like that.
I liked it!
You’re definitely right about the shoes.
I also think that the train could have been left off. I would have liked it more.
Beautiful dress but I’m not liking the retro hair. It’s retro to the point where it looks old and cartoonish on her.
The dress is beautiful, she’s beautiful but this look is quite meh for me, too. Black pumps are nonsense with this dress, also I don’t like the long train, considering the event… it’s not such a glamorous red carpet, she could use it for Cannes, instead. I don’t like her pose in the first photo, a bit contrived, but I love her hair.
