Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better? Ciara or Jane Fonda

Ciara attended the Black Eyed Peas’ 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert back in February wearing this über-sexy Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 dress.

The coffee-coloured dress features incredibly revealing cut-outs around the midsection and chest, showing off Ciara’s amazingly-toned body.

It’s definitely not an easy dress to pull off and dangerously walks the line of being distasteful, but I think she just manages to make it work. Having a body like hers definitely helps.

A pair of hooped earrings, flawless makeup and sexy curls finished her look.

Jane Fonda took to the red carpet at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival this past week for the “Sleeping Beauty” Premiere wearing an age appropriate custom-made version of the same dress.

The actress looked radiant in all white, with the revealing cut-outs filled in with silver and white embellished panels.

Jane teamed the dress with stunning Chopard jewellery, a mini gold clutch and peep-toe heels.

For a woman of 73 years old to look this good on the red carpet is no easy feat and Jane makes it look effortless. She is just as stunning as the younger stars who have taken to the red carpet at Cannes, if not more.

My vote is going to Jane on this occasion. Ciara undoubtedly looks amazing but I prefer the dress with the filled in panels. It’s a tasteful way of doing sexy but still remaining elegant.

Takes a real star to effortlessly out shine someone almost 1/3 their age. To you Ms. Jane Fonda I say WEERRQQ!!

how do you even compare an icon like Jane Fonda to…I don’t even know who the other woman is…come on!

Jane Fonda looks sexy and classy unlike Ciara who looks trashy. So what if you have a nice body. It still doesn’t prevent you front looking trashy. Jane is an inspiration for women over 50 here!

I know Jane Fonda has had various nips and tucks over the years (she’s been open about it, which makes a nice change from the usual denials) but still… that’s an amazing body for a 73 year old. I’m almost 40 years younger than her and I don’t think I’d look half as good in that dress! Is it too late to start doing aerobics? She’s styled it perfectly too.

No way ! She’s 73? That is just not possible.

Jane Fonda is a legend. Ciara just doesn’t compare to her beauty.

jane looks gorgeous, she looks like the picked the dress because she likes it, where as ciara looks like she picked it simply because it showed flesh.

Both dresses give a different look. i think Ciara looks great because she gives it a rock and roll feel. Whereas Jane looks great too for her age and for red carpet at Cannes.

Both women are gorgeous.. Jane does look more elegant. Ciara looks more sexy. Both ladies’ styles were very appropriate for the respective events.

As for all the hateful comments towards Ciara, please stop it. Ciara is a very beautiful woman and I respect her. She is not trashy at all. When did a beautiful woman’s skin become trashy. It’s just skin. No exposed sexual organs as I have seen this with other women on red carpets.

Jane looks great but I choose Ciara. How awesome is it to compliment such beautiful dress with such beautiful skin. That a risk and it works for Ciara.

    Still look Great though, Jane.
