Jessica Chastain joined Brad Pitt for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “The Tree Of Life” Photocall this morning.
The beautiful red-head opted for an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2011 dress.
Her scarlet silk crinkle chiffon embroidered dress and runway scarlet leather corset bombayed belt was teamed with nude Brian Atwood ‘Debra Due’ slingbacks, taking its inspiration from the runway styling.
There’s nothing to fault with this look.
It’s chic, event appropriate, she didn’t over accessorize and I’m glad she kept the runway belt.
Soft retro curls completed her look.

It looks very plain compared to the runway interpretation.
The black-haired bun, the purse and the visible earrings take this to a whole new level, but without them, the dress is lacking.
The close-up picture with Brad, where actually we get to SEE those cute earrings (although I’d probably go with variation of green) reveals the beauty of this look, but all the full-body shots make this look very muted.
She better bring it tonight!!!!

i love this look but her stance/pose in this photo makes her look a bit dumpy and almost bored.

I love that she wore a bold red dress with her red hair – could be a risky move, but she pulls it off!
Redheads are not limited to wearing black these days: I love the combination of the ginger hair with the colour of this dress. I have jumped on the ‘dislike nude shoes’ bandwagon and would have preferred metallic strappy sandals with this dress.
