Mia Wasikowska also attended the Finch’s Quarterly Review Filmmakers Dinner at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc during 2011 Cannes Film Festival last night.
She opted for a simple Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti rose silk dress.
All her looks during this festival have been understated and chic.
She always looks elegant whilst staying true to herself and individual style, but I wish she opted for a different coloured clutch.

In my opinion, this shade terribly washes her out. The only thing I like here is her bow pumps.
I agree with you. She seems naked. I also dislike the black bag, considering the light colors of dress and shoes.
I prefer the Valentino she wore a couple of days ago – with the pinkish tone – this seems to wash her out, although it could partially be the lighting. I love her shoes this time out though, better than last time..
Your ‘understated’ here looks to me an awful lot like ‘couldn’t be bothered’ to do anything other than get dressed.
She’s dressed to generate disinterest, imo, and succeeded.
I wish she had opted for a different color dress
I wouldn’t mind the nude, wishy washy dresses if she would at least comb her hair. It kinda looks like she’s been taking hair styling tips from Alexa Chung.
Maybe it’s the camera or flash, but she looks like a ghost because the color is too close to her skin tone.
I love the shoes.
why does nearly everything she wear washes her out? maybe it’s that she needs a bit more colour in her face?
Some colour is badly needed here, but her posture at Cannes is much better than it has been in the past, so props for that.
BORING…
