OMG what a night.
I can’t step away from my PC for 2 seconds before yet another gown hits the red carpet.
Here we see Sarah Jessica Parker again tonight, this time she attended the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Wu Xia” Premiere.
The actress looked stunning wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2011 gown.
Her floral printed crepe georgette gown with lace detailing at the sleeves and at the neckline thankfully wasn’t over accessorized on this occasion.
She added a stunning complementary necklace and dazzling diamond encrusted earrings.
I’m so happy she let the gown do most of the talking.

I think the necklace was not so necessary but the rest works fabulously well!
I think sometimes starts wear them as a gesture of appreciation to the company that sponsors the jewelry, or they could be the spokesperson for a collection etc.

100% wonderful. the print..the detailing…all of it is wonderful. mix a killer gown with A KILLER/AMAZING/FLAWLESS FASHIONISTA like SJP and its a match made in heaven. the designer must be really excited. he is a favorite for me -so this is really cool

I mean the gown is so beautiful by itself why did she think it necessary to add the necklace? Ignoring that aspect i tink this was a great choice for her and she is working the hell out of it. I must say she has gorgeous eyes and usually i am not a fan of her close-ups

I just l-o-v-e-d this dress on the runway. It was one of only four prints in a sea of monochromatic looks, and I wanted badly to see it on the red carpet.
SJP really does it justice, she looks beautiful in it.

This is a perfect look for the Cannes film festival. It’s relaxed but at the same time oh so glamorous.
Of course I would rip off her necklace at once, but other than that, she looks un-be-lei-va-ble!! The gown is just amazing!! She’s gone right into my Top 3 of Cannes 2011 so far!! Wow!!
People might not agree with me but I think she definitely could’ve gone without the necklace. The earrings are enough in my opinion
The dress is beautiful but I don’t like the earrings; the necklace is beautiful but I think it was unnecessary with the lace detail. There’s something I don’t like about the hair, interesting but a bit ruffled, but maybe it was a wanted effect.
We already saw someone wearing that print, no?
Because I remember it being too much back then and it’s still too much.
I absolutely adore everything else though.
(Although I did just look up previous Saab entries and nobody seems to have worn it. Maybe a similar print then?)

I know I’m saying this because SJP has fallen from grace in my style icon list, but I don’t like this outfit. The dress is nice, but I don’t think that print is appropriate for a red carpet.
I love her in this but I’m not sure I like the print. She does make it work though.
on anyone else this would look like something from a little old ladies wardrobe, but on sarah jessica it looks gorgeous. her make-up is flawless in my opinion, so glad she softened it down she normally seems to pile on the eyeliner and eye shadow which makes her eyes look even smaller.
