Clemence Poesy also attended the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Premiere this evening.
Whilst I love the colour of her YSL Edition Soir gown against her skin-tone, I’m not a fan of how it appears to be hanging off her very loosely.
It’s like a young child playing dress up in mummy’s clothes.
Her off-the-shoulder dress is lightly embellished around the neckline and is accented with a jewel encrusted belt.
Suede teal peep-toes and a silver clutch completed her look.

I actually like it although i think different shoes would be nice ( maybe some nude sandals?).
“Like a young child playing dress up in mummy’s clothes”, hahahaha! Spot on.
She is gorgeous, but this isn’t working.
Thank you for a fantastic coverage, FC. I love your blog.
FC you definitely gave the best description possible.
Sometimes I can’t understand why is so hard for them to choose a great look… They probably have so many good options.
i LOVE the dress, but shoes bother me so much! the dress is soft and floaty yet those shoes are so heavy a pair of nice silver strappy sandals would have been perfect.
why can’t she smile on the red carpet?
I don’t like the loose effect either
I like the neckline detail, but I agree about the effect “child playing dressed up in mummy’s clothes”, so I don’t like it. I also dislike the shoes (not right for the dress). To me, it’s almost a miss.
The little girl lost look never does a thing for me, I do love the color of this dress though….
I agree, the scared little girl thing is kind of creepy here.
Cher Clemence
there is a marvellous invention called a hair brush. I believe they even sell them in Cannes. Please buy one.
The hair is styled the same way as always and the fitting of the dress is really terrible.. cute color though!
What always bugs me about her is her mimic when she poses. You’d say she could be more versatile since she’s an actress and all!
Like the idea of the dress, but the fit is off, and maybe the lenght of the skirt doesn’t help either
Why does she look so frightened? This would look so much better with sandals and her hair up.
she looks great! i love her style and it is a very cute non-mainstream outfit
You are so funny. From the hair to the dress to the clumpy shoes, she totally looks like a little girl playing dress up in mummy’s clothes! Her pose even, she looks like Mummy just caught her!
haha i agree with you FC
I hate when celebs go diva in an ugly dress
she looks like a mad whore
I don’t understand why she tries so hard to be ugly!
