Sorry to say this again, but I find Astrid Berges-Frisbey so incredibly hard to warm to.
She’s wearing Chanel Couture, yet she looks so lifeless.
Her Chanel Spring 2009 Couture ivory dress was worn to the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Photocall this morning.
On this occasion she took ShoeRazzi’s advice as she didn’t opt for black heels with her ivory dress.
Nice, but so very boring.

Who Was Your Best Dressed This Week?

You’re right, but this outfit is the best she’s worn on the red carpet so far.
On a lighter note, I just hate her tattoo. I’m a huge fan of tattoos but this is honestly horrible.
Pretty, I really like this. Not so much a fan of the shoes though. They seem an awfully aggressive choice for such a simple and understated ensemble. The less said about the tattoo, the better.
Love those shoes!
The shoes are really cool but this dress just makes me say blah…. She should wear something more colorful…
poor girl she looks as if she has either been at the gym and rushed to the event or left her hotel with wet hair. it would have looked gorgeous with her hair up and without the ugly tattoo. the shoes are quite nice.
I agree. The dress looks so much better on the model and Astrid just ruins it
This girl just can not get it all right. I think that in this look the hair is the problem.
Big improvement shoe-wise ! Also, she should eat some cheesecake or something, she looks painfully thin.
I think white might be the IT-color of Cannes
I like it
i ove the dress and the shoes, but her hair looks awful and those tattoos are disgusting!
I saw Tang Wei in a similar outfit with an amazing pretty clutch!!FC you might like this.
I ready featured it

Love the dress, the shoes are okay, but a tad aggressive as Martin says. But doesn’t Penelope completely draw the spotlight–more beautiful, more beautifully dressed, better styling, happier, much more confidence–she is such a pro and this young woman is so tentative. Kind of painful to watch her.
I love the dress, clear and chic white but have to agree kinda of boring for this event~~
Those shoes caught my eyes!!
I think she’s just camera shy… she looks really great!
The hair drags the whole outfit down. I’m not sure what her stylist was going for but he/she missed by a MILE.
the hair and the look …no… it seemed like she was trying to look effortlessly stylish but failed in either way.
She’s very French. Ingenue. It’s a look. Love the absence of make-up. She’s the polar opposite of a Cheryl Cole…and I know who I prefer
Me too!
The dress is beautiful but the hair is soo tacky. Plus, the shoes may be fuchsia but they are not pretty. And the tattoo…
I don’t think it’s boring, I just don’t like the hair.
I love it!
I absolutely love her style!! Have you seen her at the premiere? She looked wonderful!! And the german premiere look with the red lips? She might as well be my new favourite…
She looks great! I cannot believe some of you people would say that.
