This is more like it Cheryl Cole.
The X Factor US judge goes a very long way to redeem her fashion violation earlier this week.
She stepped out on the red carpet at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Habemus Papam” Premiere tonight looking breath-taking wearing a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2011 Couture dress.
We don’t see enough to Stéphane Rolland on the red carpet, but whenever we do it gives us dramatic results.
Her plunging gown with a draped detail from the hip and a gold accent on the waist is accessorized with a gold clutch and a deep rouge lip colour.
The Barbarella hair was slicked back in favour of a neat ponytail.
On this evidence I hope that her UK stylist travels back to the US with Cheryl.

Since she changed her stylist this winter I haven’t like any of her looks(apart from Sass Bide one). Cheap and tacky as hell
I think the front is too low-cut and I don’t like whatever those gold things are dangling in the front.
Good LORD this is fabulous. Whoever styles her for Cannes is just excellent. There’s nothing wrong with this look and I’m impressed that someone as petite as Cheryl is werking this gown so well.

Scary? It’s terrifying! It’s so harsh and ageing. She needs to let her beauty shine through, not smother it. I think the dress is elegant, but the front is too low-cut.
sameeeee…. i remember reading in my history books when i was in school that Queen Elizabeth 1 used to put so much makeup that she found it difficult to smile. I think Chery Cole has taken her place!

Anyway, the dress needs someone less busty and a lighter make-up. I do applaud the change of hair though.

the cleavage distracts from everything else
I’m still not feeling it. Sure it’s an improvement but at this points anything would have been an improvement. I think the make-up it’s taking away from the dress and either the cut is too low either she doesn’t wear it right. I’m sure i would have loved it on Diane Kruger or Gwyneth Paltrow to say.
I absolutely love the dress and the hair but the eye make-up is much too dark!

I like the cut of the dress but the orange tan, makeup and golden bull balls ruin it in my opinion. Without all that and with the addition of a simple silver cuff necklace it could have been very seventies glamazon-like.

I liked the dark make-up minus the dark lip she should have chosen either the lip or eye like the model did. I hate the hair it looks odd?…idk I think the hair should have come down more on her face. The dress, she is often regarded as being (slightly) tacky, therefore i think she should have made alterations to the neckline, it is cut way to low and lastly the bells/balls? What the hell! I don’t understand those things?
Why can’t she wear something simple and chic? She comes close but for the gilded kidneys and the rather Night Porter hair and make up. B – must try or rather not try so hard.

She looks great and the make up is perfect in my opinion. If you look at the other pictures the make is not that dark.

I like it except for those ridiculous gold balls. They look trashy and cheap. They’re distracting and completely ruin the look for me.
aside from what appears to be a pair of giant golden testicles protruding from her stomach, she looks fabulous.

She’s a beautiful woman and her dress is beautiful, most of all from the back, because I hate those golden “things” on the front. I also think that the make up ages her because I believe in the rule “eyes or lips” and I agree she looks a bit like a vampire (but it’s not a very bad thing). I also agree about the fact that this dress needs a “flat” breast, like the model.
This is vulgar and tasteless. She has 2 brass ovaries hanging under breasts. I am not getting the appeal here.
And she’s attending the premiere of a Nanni Moretti’s movie, quite strange…

Way too much boob for my taste lol. This would work on someone with a smaller chest like Gwyneth Paltrow. On Cheryl it just looks kinda cheap even though it’s a great dress. She should’ve asked for a higher cleavage.

The golden things on her belt exactly mimic the curves of her .. chest. I actually don’t mind the vampy makeup and I like the hair, but those gold things ruin it for me.
Make-up is too dark, but I can get over that. If the dress had some other embellishment other than those gold pieces, it’d be lovely. Those things on her waist are just weird….it actually makes me dislike this dress completely.
I like the dress better on the model. I feel like Cheryl has too much … uh … boobs for it? I also agree with those who said the make-up isn’t doing her any favour. She should have gone for a lighter shade of lipstick. Overall, the model looks far better than she does here.
But it’s an improvement over her usual tacky look.
This is all too much. Too much makeup, too much skin and too much gold fruit/nuts … what are those rude looking things? It’s not as if the gown is low enough to begin with, it looks like the upper half of the collar is folded under to create a wider ‘V’ … it’s so distracting because her breasts look like they are trying to bridge the gap. Not pretty.
Say what you want about the make up and the boobs.. she looks friggin amazing.

I think that this beautiful dress is ruined by what looks like gold testicles.
Cheryl has the body to pull of a minimalist looks, and the testes should have been removed. It detracts from the entire look.

I really like this – and I’m glad she’s opted for a different look – I think the hair and make up really suit the overall look and styling of this dress

I’m not loving the dress, but she’s sooo beautiful, and with the hair pulled back i think she looks really classy and a perfect Loreal UK ambassador.
