Astrid Berges-Frisbey joined Penelope Cruz at the “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” London Premiere wearing another dress which totally washes her out.
The Spanish actress opted for a Maxime Simoens Spring 2011 Couture dress.
I love the dress itself, especially the ombre feathered skirt.
Long sleeves and white dresses continues to be a red carpet trend.
My major problem with this look is the shoes (needless to say).
I’m guessing those ugly black sandals attempted to stop her from looking so washed out, but I would’ve preferred a nude heel on this occasion.
I don’t know about you, but I’m finding it very hard to warm to Astrid’s red carpet style plus her knees look really ashy.

Hideous shoes, I agree. And the ashy knees really ruins all hope.
I don’t think the shoes themselves are so bad, I think it’s the combination of that cute dress with those shoes. Anyway, the hair and the makeup are bothering me too. And I hadn’t noticed about the knees, but yeah, you’re right.

BTW – the shoes are Rupert Sanderson. I actually like them- I´ve seen a pair in turquoise satin and thought they were pretty cool. But with this dress and in this colour I agree they´re a miss….
