The National Movie Awards 2011 took place at Wembley Arena yesterday.
We’ve already seen Gwyneth Paltrow, so here’s a look at some of the other attendees.
Georgie Henley: The young star clearly loves designs by Ms Ferretti. On this occasion she opted for a Philosophy Fall 2011 lilac satin shirt dress with a full skirt of floral embroidery. A gold Mulberry clutch and two tone sandals completed her look.
Anna Popplewell: Georgie’s on-screen sister opted for something more bedazzled for her red carpet appearance. Anna wore a Nanette Lepore Fall 2010 embellished dress which would’ve looked better had she opted for sandals like the ladies to either side of her.
Bonnie Wright: The Harry Potter star is always trying something new; dress-wise, not hair-wise. The actress wore a Pringle of Scotland Spring 2011 ensemble which included a blue sleeveless top and leather skirt with a sheer pleated panel. Miu Miu black suede sandals completed this look.
Christine Bleakley: TV Presenter/WAG opted for white lace Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 dress, which we are very much over seeing on the red carpet. Only Uma Thurman got a pass yesterday. I wish Christine had followed Uma’s lead by opting for silver heels.
Jodie Whittaker: The British actress opted for a cobalt blue Victoria Beckham Fall 2010 dress which we’ve seen on Demi Moore and Veronica Webb.
Nicole Scherzinger: The sexy singer looks like she’s on her way to audition for a part in ‘The Only Way Is Essex.’

I’m not impressed by any of them.
Me neither. So meh all of them.
I totally agree, I only like B. Wright’s shoes, cute.
You know, it’s so funny that I would say British females tend to be pretty stylish, particularly street style wise, I don’t feel many American could compete. However when it comes to the red carpet they always look pretty bad, I don’t get it at all! They aren’t even in the same league as Hollywood stars, it’s so frustrating!!
I agree, they always look really bad…it pains me
Dear FC
I’ve not been to UK before, but with every new post I wonder: are there no hairstylists?
Apparently no
What a shame.
Hahahaha, loving the comparison between Nicole and ‘the only way Is essex’!!
The dress doesn’t look like a VB dress on jodie – I can’t put my finger on it exactly but she definately isn’t doing it justice.
What a let down of an event after the glory of Cannes last yesterday!
Your comment on Nicole is spot on! Hahaha. I liked the Alberta Feretti dress on Georgie. I also think she accessorized well. The others seem like they didn´t put particularly much effort into their looks. I like the VB dress but some statement accessories were desperately needed to make this look interesting.
If I had to pick one out of the bunch that would be Bonnie but I’m a bit disappointed by the british girl.
Bonnie looks great.
