This is the first time that I have absolutely NO idea who to vote for. Every woman was too beautiful. This festival has gotten a great start fashion-wise. Hopefully the rest will be as great.

My eye just keeps going back to Rachel in Marchesa, the overall look just draws me in; a close second has to be Salma in Gucci, it’s so good to see her finally look perfect!

    Rachel McAdams in Marchesa.

I seriously loved it even though a dress like that has massive potential to end up in ‘hot mess’ territory. She worked it.

i totally agree… this dress is amazing but hard to pulled it off and she did it perfectly, i think.

This is more exciting than the Oscars – I just can’t decide! I think I’m leaning towards Rachel McAdams in Marchesa but they all look so good (and it’s only day 1).

Tough choice, but I’m going with Rachel McAdams in Marchesa. Serious kudos to Rachel. She’s the only one on this poll twice and the only photo call look on the poll. Not an easy feet.

And kudos to you FC. I am looking forward to what you’ll have to say about all of the Cannes looks.

Wow… This is a difficult choice, I don’t know who to vote for. In the end voted for salma Hayek, she looked perfect, sexy and glam!

FC, thanks again for the superb coverage. I know we have a lot more to come, but I feel it was worth the wait!

Salma looks so beautiful and put together! All the details are perfect – hair, makeup, accessories, making the package complete. Rachel McAdams and Uma Thurman looked amazing as well.

the marchesa is winning??? the dress is breathtaking but her shoes killed it plus she is not oozing attitude like Uma Thurman in Versace..

What a difficult choice! Fan and Rachel in Marchesa both look AMAZING, Uma and Karolina are my other favourites. In the end it was Fan all the way.

Ha, I always get it ‘wrong’: I voted for Gong Li because I loved that shade of purple on her colouring. They do all look great, but I can’t get my head around Rachel as such a light blonde.

Hope you’re having a wonderful wonderful time in Cannes: I’m sure it’s amazing! xx

Very exciting stuff indeed. I voted for Fan as she is absolutely ruthless and pulls off this wonderful gown with ease. Most of all, I like the Chinese reference.
