Uma Thurman wowed the crowds at the Opening Ceremony of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival wearing her second white hot look of the day.
She looked gorgeous wearing a Versace Fall 2011 gown.
I knew we wouldn’t have to wait long to see Verasce at Cannes.
The jury member added Jimmy Choo ‘Miles’ nude strappy sandals to her strapless white gown with a thigh-high split.
I love that she kept the train of feathers as Kate Hudson modified her gown to be feather-free when she wore a look from this collection.
Uma did however modify the bodice of her gown which had cut-out details on the runway.
A chic updo and emerald Chopard jewels completed Uma’s look.

The gown, jewels are great. I just wish she would have had a more professional looking hair do. This one looks like she just said ‘what the heck, the gown will do the talking’ and ran out the door. Too bad. That fabulous gown deserves a fabulous hairdo.

I’m going to sound picky but had she left the cutouts on the bodice, our jaws wouls’ve knocked the floor immediately!

And my wish to see the white feathered Versace dress at the Cannes came true the first night! This seriously made my day
After reviewing all the stunning looks from Cannes Opening Ceremony Uma is the best. She looks amazing! What a dress and those jewels are divine. Such a strong event, hopefully the rest of the festival continues this high standard! Excellent coverage so far FC!

and FC you are keeping my day bright with this coverage even if during some of my classes im refreshing Getty images to see if i can spot a dress like you can but unless it was 100% 1 of my favs i cant do it or if it was not on the runway i usually cant tell unless the details are stereotypical to a designer usually Versace lol
Va Va Voom! Absolutely stunning. I just love how a hourglass figure or the illusion of a hourglass figure (not in her case, she really has it) truly transforms a relatively simple dress.
