There was no doubt in your minds that Diane Kruger was your favourite this week wearing Jason Wu.
The German actress oozed sexy sophistication as walked the steps of the Met with her thigh firmly on display.
I knew no one would sway me from going with Christina Ricci this week.
The petite actress looked 6ft tall in her Zac Posen Couture gown at the Met Gala.
As I said on the night, she was one of the few who got the memo that this event was about McQueen, not Stella McCartney.
She brought some much needed drama to this event, whilst capturing the spirit of McQueen.
Credit to her and Zac for pulling off what no one else did on the night.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s the best look at the MET Gala. I’m totally loving how Christina Ricci confidently carried the dress. I’m amazed that the voluminous dress didn’t overwhelm her petite frame. Bravo!
Oh FC, thank you so much for giving Christina & Zac their well deserved credit! Wonderful job this week as always!
Thank you.
It’s gonna get better next week with Cannes. Can’t wait.
Me neither! In the next couple of weeks I’ll live through your blog I think haha!
I love that these two won because I love Diane and she was a knockout but you are completely right about christina she got the Alexander McQueen memo and I’m suprised and disappointed others didn’t.I know if I were there I would have tried to find the most spectacular dramatic dress and that’s what Christina did:)
They were not my BD but I think they deserved it too.
Bravo Bravo Bravo!! Christina Ricci was OUTSTADNING!
if not Mind Blowingly AWESOME!!
the pink and white mermaid Atelier Versace needs a Cannes Film Festival appearance maybe on Eva Longoira
Christina Ricci rocked! And she had a LOT of competition this week!
They were both my favorite as well, but I did end up voting for Christina. Zac’s dress was amazing.
Me no likey, sorry. But this is certainly a very Wednesday Addams dress.
I completely agree. I voted for christina too.
I thought Christina was a bit too petite to pull that off. Diane looked nice but for me the best dressed there by a mile was Mariacarla Boscono.
Christina was very underrated imo. She was big drama without looking ridiculous. Im glad she didn’t escape your eagle eye.
You know me, I’m all about the drama
I was sad that she wasn’t being recognised for wearing so well this outstanding dress.
Tnx for giving the credit both Ricci and this delicate gown deserve!
Im so glad you chose christina ricci! She was also my best dressed this week. She really stole the show and looked gorgeous.
I agree with you. Christina was the best!
It’s funny how she is best dressed here and one of the worst on fashion police.
Ricci’s dress took my breath away. I loved both- but it’s so amazing how the dress is structure; the shape it creates on her body is unparalleled.
I’m glad you chose Christina too, FC. She’s never been one of my favorites, but she really got it right this time. The Jason Wu is a great dress too, but I’m really tired of the thigh-high slits that lend themselves to this type of pose.
Totally with you on this one FC. The MET ball is the one night where you can go all out, and Christina was one of the few who did. I liked Diane’s look, but she could’ve taken it a bit farther IMO. If I were ever so lucky to walk the RC at the MET ball, I’d take notes from Christina’s look.
Yes! Christina was by far the best dressed. It’s an amazing dress, and one of the best of they year, so far. I’m jealous you were able to see her in persona rocking the look!
loved your comment, the major difference – besides the drama – is that she brought the mcqueen spirit, i loved it.
