Zhang Ziyi In Christian Dior – “Love For Life” Beijing Premiere

Zhang Ziyi was radiant on the red carpet for the “Love For Life” Beijing Premiere in China yesterday.

The Asian beauty appears to be a fan of the Christian Dior Spring 2011 collection, as this is her second look from the same collection.

On this occasion she wore a sunshine yellow embroidered one-sleeve gown with champagne coloured peep-toes.

I love that she’s wearing the bold coloured pieces from this collection.

Yellow isn’t an easy colour to pull off on the red carpet, but I think she does so perfectly with her usual elegance.

A bit tired seeing her tired face.

I think she always looks boring. There’s no attitude or personality whatsoever that makes her work whatever dress she’s wearing.

It fits the model perfectly, but somehow when Ziyi’s the one who’s wearing the dress – it doesn’t look as youthful. I mean… I can picture Helen Mirren wearing it after looking at Ziyi’s picture.

I really like this, I don’t know why but it seems that Asian “red carpert celebrities” seem more fashion aware than others: it feels like they dress to please themselves rather than wear what a stylist tell them to (I hope I make sense…). Thank you for covering events from Asia, it’s always a delight!
Also, I notice that no one wore Christian Dior during the MET gala, I understand the controversy with John Giliano but fashion wise they were a lot of great dresses from the last season that deserved to be on this red carpet, but hey…
I think you did a great coverage of the MET gala by the way, and you seemed to to have had such a great time that night.

Much better than the other dress from this collection that she wore. This is gorgeous on her.

I love this!! I have to say, I spent a lot of time in Asia and I was thrilled to see so many gorgeous shades of yellow in the clothes – I guess it’s a color that is easier on an Asian skin tone. I was jealous – I’m so pale I’m practically blue, and yellow looks terrible on me, almost always. But if I could, I would wear this dress immediately!

the lok of this dress while in movement must be beautiful. It seems so light and flowy. the runway picture just gives us an idea.

FC, this has been such a colourful day.. I am loving all the summer-y tones!

I vote yes for this dress to be on the BDOTW list!

Agreed. It’s so nice to see celebs embracing bright color as the weather starts to get warmer.

I think I like this dress more than her blue Dior dress. And, I have to give it to her for caring a very vibrant yellow dress. She wore it very well!

      Agreed 😀

Very beautiful! I usually hate yellow clothes, but this dress is so beautiful, much better than the other one she wore recently. I think she deserves to be a BDOTW contender, even if I saw beautiful dresses at the Met Gala. She totally pulled off this dress.
