Attending a screening of her movie ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ back in October, Kristen Stewart chose this beautiful asymmetrical lace Valentino Resort 2011 dress.
Looking super confident on the red carpet, the young actress pulled out all the stops to show off this incredibly sexy and sophisticated outfit. Pairing the dress with black satin Brian Atwood heels, a touch of red lipstick and a teased updo, Kristen proved to us all she had the poise to carry off such a chic dress.
Christina Aguilera wore the same dress to attend the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert in New York on Sunday.
Unfortunately the singer took the opposite approach to Kristen and instead of looking sophisticated, she manages to look tacky. Christina’s bright blonde hair, fake tan, pouty red lips and peep toe heels give off a Las Vegas vibe which clashes terribly with the elegant lace dress.
I also think she should have opted for a sleeker hairstyle too – it just might have changed the overall effect.
My vote is definitely going to Kristen. She styled the dress perfectly right down to the hair, makeup and shoes and as Christina’s look goes to show, the details sometimes make all the difference.

Their awful makeup is identical. Kristen’s hair looks messy while Christina’s hair is so bright it’s like staring directly at the sun. But because Kristen’s skin doesn’t look like it’s been in a preheated 350 degree oven, she also wins for me.
peroxide blonde hair, alot of fake tan, red lipstick, heavy eye makeup and a tight black dress… a recipe for tacky.
however, it looks great on kristen!
While Kristen certainly looks better in the dress than Christina, I don’t think that Kristen looks all that stunning either. Sad because it’s such a pretty dress on the model.
I prefer the dress on Stewart. That being said I don’t think she looks that great either (make up, hair and choice of shoes is a no for me) but still better than Aguilera.

I think it looks best on the runway model- she carries it more lightly and with a more feminine air than either Kristin or Christina, but between the two celebs, Kristin gets it by a long shot. The way Christina is wearing it, she looks a little like a hooker.
But it’s your opinion, I believe that Criss looks better Christina, it looks like something has gone! But this is my opinion and most of the people.
I think whoever would win against C. Aguilera when it comes to style and fashion. She’s tacky from head to toe, and the pose…

how on earth could someone make a valentino dress look tacky ? valentino means elegant, chic and classy not tacky…poor christina
The dress is exactly the same. I don’t see the difference. But Kristen’s makeup is totally wrong. In other pictures you can see that her stylists made her face ton a lot darker than the rest of her body and the hair is too messy. It makes her look older than she is.
