Ever on trend with her rich red mane, the California King Bed singer’s hairstylist Ursula Stephens swept her lengthy locks over her left shoulder and braided down-and-around both sides of her forehead, culminating in a look that was youthful and laid-back, while still entirely appropriate for a fanatical fashion event, such as the Costume Institue Gala.

Remember Alexander Wang’s S/S10 runway show? Wang’s go-to guy Guido Palau added extensions to each model’s mane and tossed a long loose plait over one shoulder and sent them on their way.
Now that a sexy, sassy side braid is utterly fashionable and excessively cool—there’s never a reason for any girl to have a bad hair day.

I love the braid and all the red head looks but some of those hair pieces look kind of cheap. If she would take the quality up a notch she would look fantastic.
The first thing I thought of when I saw her was Princess Fiona in Shrek. Fiona has the same hair color, and her green skin is the same color as Rihanna’s earrings.
i thought the braid took away from the overall look. without the braid she would have been one of my favorites of the night, but the braid really cheapened and ruined it for me.
I don’t have the desire to wear fake hair. It’s just never been my thing, but I like the braid. More power to anyone who likes to wear faux hair.

Even if it´s true she is wearing exrensions, it´s well done, a good interpretation of the rapunzel look. Love it!
& for those who don´t get it, extensions are a lifestyle for Blacks. It is cultural, from the motherland, a way to celebrate beauty , because it´s versatile, & one can change his style without damaging his hair. Now it´s her taste to have it so long all-in-your-face-style. It´s bold risky but so is she
