I was most impressed with Michelle Williams on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City this evening.
She’s finally wearing a supportive bra and she’s wearing a colour other than white.
Michelle opted for a Miu Miu silk open back dress accented with gold swallow embroidery and grosgrain bow details accenting the shoulders and waist.
I love her bronzed glow. I can’t find a single fault.

Hair and makeup flawless. Not loving the dress
She looks fantastic!! Love the extra color in her skin and the glow it give her. She looks FABULOUS!

Even though it is not white, I still have a deja vu feeling looking at her. Maybe it is because of the shape of the dress, similar to what she usually wears. I also dislike the make up, I like that she looks tanned but hate the eye shadow!

Best she’s looked in a long time. At this point I’ve pretty much lost hope that she’ll ever return to some of the beautiful, bold gowns she wore during her Brokeback era. However, for where she is now this is definitely an improvement. Very flattering and I love her delicate earrings.

Love it all except the watch (?) / bracelet combo – I don’t think it works with the dress.
I love the drama of the grown – it’s a nice switch of the pale delicates she had been wearing. Plus she looks happy (that could just be the bronzer though).
Anyway, I wanted to hate the bird dress, but I actually love it. I love Michelle in it. That’s saying alot for me because I find her soooo boring most of the time.

Aww I love this dress! She looks beautiful and though its darker and not what I see Michelle wearing, she still carried it well. The accessories and make up doesn’t work well…but I still love it overall.

I’m a bit up and down on this – but overall, I like it, I like the golden glow thing she’s got going for her here……I just have this funny feeling of wanting to put this dress on someone else….

I love the cut of this dress, but I’m not crazy about the birds. I like that Michelle is wearing a little more makeup, but she’s starting to look a bit like Renee Zellwegger.

I love this dress, it is quirky with the bird embroidery but the shape is still old school 30′s elegant. I love her hair, the colour is perfect for her, and I don’t mind the extra makeup as adds to her sophisticated look. Definitely one of my favourites.
