Kirsten Dunst attended the 2011 Met Gala last night.
She wore a Chanel Fall 2010 Couture dress.
The multi-coloured floral embroidered and sequined dress was teamed with black pointy pumps with a floral accent.
This is a very typical look for Kirsten. I’m sure in a line up of 10 Chanel dresses we would’ve all picked this one for her.
Whilst her dress holds no surprises, her hair does.
Tragic doesn’t quite cover it.
She should’ve worn her hair up to be in tune with the elegance with her Couture dress. Who wears Soccer mum hair with Couture?

I don’t like it, but this is the best she has looked in a while
Whoa! is she at the Met? Okay what is going on here. Did everyone pick out the boring and ugly for this event.
mm, you are so right. There are some awesome looks, but overall, a bit disappointing, and this is just awful for this event. What was she thinking??
I don’t think this dress is Met worthy. Overall, am a little disappointed in the choices made by the attendees. Not enough WOW! factor.
I agree. I was disappointed by most of the outfits seen on the red carpet, and Kirsten is no exception. I mean, she looked bad but others were worse. In any case, FC is right: terrible hair with a haute couture dress (even if I don’t like it) is just wrong.
Don’t like the shoes or the hair. I feel like she always wears shoes like that, and I never like them.
I think this dress is absolutly hideous.
For the MET gala, it takes it to a whole new (low) level.

I love this dress and really like Kirsten’s Chanel choices but think this dress would have looked better if a little shorter for her… and with better hair!
