Frieda Pinto arrived alone at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City this evening.
The Indian actress looked gorgeous wearing a Chanel Spring 2010 Couture gown.
Her white silk cold shoulder gown has a cute black tie.
I’m not sure how you all feel about this, but I love it.
I much prefer Freida’s thinner tie.
Chopard jewels and a black clutch completed her look.
Is it me or is Freida brimming with confidence lately? I’m sensing a new attitude and I love it.

100% agree. its sexy & its bold. love the look!
It’s so SEXY! I’ve never seen her look like this before. I love it!!
great look
lol at Chloe next to her
is that chloe sevigny in the back (or more on the left side) ?
The tie doesn’t work for me… but she looks quite pretty!
Love the masculine-feminine contrasts! I agree with you FC, she looks more sexy and confident than ever.
nice dress but what is with that garish ugly red lipstick? not pretty.
I agree. I love that dress, the hair, the attitude, but as I look closer, the lipstick is really bothering me.
Great look, very different I love it. My only gripe would be it kinds looks like she’s expecting. But still one of the best dressed I’ve seen from the event.
This is a big “oh honey no” for me.
agreed
that tie RUINS the dress for me! OH HONEY NOOOOOOOOOO!
Agreed. For a second, I thought she was M.I.A., and that’s not a compliment.
I’m not loving it. It’s just not “her.”
Always loved Freida’s style! She’s never boring. Love this new attitude you’re talking about FC. Her hair and makeup is on point!
Reeks of Chanel and I love it. It’s so very her, too.
Considering how boring and safe most of the evenings looks were, I found this to be a refreshing risk.
I guess that I am not fashionista enough because there is absolutely nothing that I like about this dress. But, I appreciate her going outside of the box.
Am I the only one who thinks the tie cheapens the look?I think the look is vey boring!!!!
the tie looks ridiculous. hate it
LOVE the outfit. So proud we have such an awesome Indian ambassador.
j’adore! I am surprised at how much I like this even incl. the tie – she has been dressing rather differently of late, which is fun, but I do miss the pretty dresses sometimes
So beautiful. I agree about the tie, I prefer hers, also because ties are for men, 99,99% of the times.
beautiful!
I think she pulls this off beautifully – one of my favorites from the evening…..
I love it, too! She looked amazing! Ahh, so perfect!
Freida’s dress is stunning. I much prefer the thinner tie. She’s confident and very beautiful here. BDOTW
This might be my favourite of the evening.
mine too! she has it all
love this
Hate the tie. She looks beautiful otherwise.
not feeling the tie…;(
original and absolutely perfect!
LOVE everything about it, even the cold shoulders
I love this – it’s elegant but still sexy.
Totally BDOTW! So gorgeous.
perfect.. BDOTW
This dress is not for me – but I think she pulls it off well… though I agree that the lipstick is too strong
