Eva Mendes looked beautiful at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City last night.
She wore an electric blue Stella McCartney silk pleated one sleeve gown with a gold belt.
I must say I expect a lot more from Eva.
This isn’t quite Met Gala worthy. It’s a New York Screening dress at best.
Eva wore her hair up with few pieces framing her face.
Nude lips and Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

boooooooooring
yeah, not flattering at all
You are sooo right. This is NOT event appropriate.
When I saw this dress I thought “cowgirl,” and Eva is definitely not a cowgirl.
Totally right, as always FC! This is so not right for the METS!!!
And I dont even think she looks good in it….Blah
I think she looks good.
Eva beginning to fall into a 70′s glam rut. This dress was definitely NOT event appropriate.
Agree with all the comments about the dress but I LOVE the color.
There is always something weird going on with her eyebrows.
Lovely colour the dress is though.
I don’t think this dress was not event appropriate -can’t see wearing it to parents evening or the food market and it’s a bit much for the office ,the colour is lovely BUT the cut is terrible making it a pretty ugly dress
Loe the color on her. That’s it.
I feel that I have seen this dress on her before. It doesn’t even look like she tried
For some reason i have always hated pleated silk on any gown, dress skirt etc. it always looks cheap to me…
this also does her body no favours
Yeah, she looks good, but this is too low key for the Met. The dress is divine, though, one of my favorites of the year.
