I was quite surprised by Ashley Greene on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala.
She looked beautiful wearing a spectacular Donna Karan gown.
Her one-of-a-kind blush tulle draped strapless gown is embroidered with platinum sequins in a fishbone pattern.
I loved her elegant side-swept bun and her bedazzled Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
A complementary Judith Leiber clutch completed her look.
I’m thankful that she didn’t suck the life out of this stunning dress.
She was one of my favourites.

Those were my thoughts as well. And I think you need more height to pull off that much tulle. She looks really short.
I thought Taylor Swift too. It is stunning from the back, though.
I hated this dress. Front isn’t bad and the excessive puffiness at the back ruin all the look. Looks like she is pulling a lot of cloth and tulle that doesn’t belong to the dress.

She looks gorgeous like a princess. Love it. Definitely one of the best dressed. She really turned it out.
I actually didn’t really like it at first. I think the gown looks a bit cheap, the skir tjsu tlooks a bit poorly hemmed, an dit is VERY similar to a certain Carolin aHerrera Gown, but that was before I damaged my eyes on some of the atrocity that walke dth ecarpet, so yh, she wasn’t the worst by a long mile.
Beautiful, but… that’s it. She didn’t WOW me.

The back shot really makes this dress- at first I thought it looked too much like a prom gown, but seeing it from behind, I loved it.

I would’ve never guessed Donna Karan by looking at this gown. It looks like a tacky Zuhair Murad gown, this is so Taylor Swift meets Beyoncé circa-Dreamgirls. Hate it.

Pretty dress, but I am getting a wedding gown vibe from it even though it is sparkly.
The dress may have worked on someone with the star caliber to pull it off like Anne Hathaway or J-Lo.

I am just gonna go out on a limb here and name this my BDOTW. This girl looks like a movie star. She shines and she gets fashion,she likes fashion. This gown is exactly what a Met Gala gown should be. Dramatic,pretty,and eye catching. She looked like a princess. Her hair,cleavage (come on it WAS fabulous),and makeup were also top notch.
Dramatic, beautiful and classic. She doesn’t always pull of formal looks with this degree of sophistication. She looks great here!
