Gwyneth Paltrow wore this pretty pink Azzedine Alaia dress to attend the Baume & Mercier Gala Evening in Geneva, Switzerland back in January.
The actress, who was named as the newest ambassador of the watch brand, teamed the dress with a pair of eye-catching Pierre Hardy bright pink peep-toe heels and a Baume & Mercier watch.
I do like this look on Gwyneth but have to agree with some of your comments that it is a little too cutesy on her and doesn’t really drape around her waist too well.
I would also have preferred lighter eye makeup, rather than the smoky eyes that Gwyneth went for.
Coleen Rooney wore the same dress to attend Ladies Day at Aintree earlier this month.
She looked lovely teaming the dress with a matching Louis Vuitton ‘Limelight’ clutch and nude Prada peep-toe platforms.
Her look was completed by teasing her hair into a half updo and wearing co-ordinating candy pink nail polish and lipgloss.
My vote is going to Coleen because her outfit is such a great springtime look and I think the dress fits her figure better than it does on Gwyneth.
I love that Coleen also stuck to a monochromatic colour scheme with her accessories, nail polish and makeup and managed to keep it looking interesting.

I’m not a fan of Coleen’s style and I usually don’t approve of matchy matchy outfits, but she looked lovely with this dress and she chose the perfect accessories. The same dress on Gwyneth looks bland.
I agree – and I also think that both Coleen’s hair and complexion work far better with the color of the dress. I think Gwynneth’s hair should have been different, perhaps with more wave or order to it. Mostly, though, she is too pale in this, and it’s a washout.
I really like it better on Gwyneth! I don’t like how it looks on Coleen plus I hate the clutch.
I absolutely prefer it on Gwyneth because the dress is so insanely girly, that any woman with curves just takes it over the top.
Her body shape just fits the dress better.
gwyneth gets my vote. EVERYTHING that coleen wears goes from looking high end yo looking high street.
i toally agree! coleen cheapens the dress…
Same here! It’s not great on Gwyneth but the big hair on Colleen instantly makes it look cheap. Also, I don’t understand why she insists on those huge platforms. Makes her legs look stumpy.
I don’t really like how either of them accessorized this dress, but there’s no denying that Colleen fills it out much better, so she easily gets my vote.
I think it looks better on Coleen (I’ve never heard of her before–who is she?). Gwyneth is too string-bean for this dress. It looks better on a woman with curves. It drapes oddly around Gwyneth’s torso.
She’s a WAG…wife of a football player
I am not fond of it on any of them. The colour looks good on G but she has no waist. On C the colour looks bland, it does give her a lovely waist but she cheapens it with the hair and accessories
I agree with you, I really don’t like Coleen Rooney’s make up and hair. I would say “none”, so I didn’t voted. I really like G. Paltrow’s pink shoes, lovely.
I can’t believe I’m voting for a WAG but she looks way better.
Gotta go with the WAG. G look like a little girl in an undershirt and petticoat.
What does WAG stand for?
