Scarlett Johansson attended the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, DC this weekend.
The actress chose this night to showcase her new red hair colour as the red head trend continues to sweep Hollywood.
Whilst her hair colour is new, her love for Elie Saab has been going on for quite some time now.
She opted to wear blue silk chiffon Elie Saab Couture sleeveless embroidered dress, which she teamed with nude pumps and a Chopard necklace.
Everything about this is pretty, but ScarJo looks very mature for her 26 years.
Still missing the va va voom.

I have steadily been fallign out of love with her. I still dream about the days of that gorgeous red valentino an dfor them to com eback, that is what a lot of 26 year old look like, not this. I am awared of how beautiful the dress is, but she maeks it look so cheap. I really wish she would gain a few pounds, she is barely recogniseable from what she looked like in ‘he’s just not that into you,’. In short, the hair is sad, the makeup is sad, the pose is sad, the dress looks sad, the styling is hrrendous, it’s all just sad.
Well, it’s the White House Correspondents’Dinner – va-va-voom might not be the most appropriate thing to go for it.

Mila managed to do it while showing less cleavage and leg than Scarlett J. The va-va-voom comes more from attitude, and that’s what ScarJo seems to have lost – her inner sexiness.

Mila naturally has that attitude, the only thing Scarlett ever had was boobs. Everything else about her has always been monotone and blah IMO. lol.
Exactly. This is just a horrible stop on her way down. The hair, the make-up, the shoes – Helen Mirren would have looked more youthful in this dress.

I don’t like any of this. The hair color does not work for her. The hair itself is too flat. The length of the dress is wrong. It should have been shortened. The shoes are dull and are more daytime than evening.
An Elie Saab creation is always welcomed on the red carpet, I can say the same thing about a beauty like Scarlett, but on this occasion, I’m totally OFF! ScarJo needs to get her mojo back.
She has always looked ten years older than she is. Now this new hair and granny dress didn’t do her any favors. She looks terrible.
When I first look at her face, I’m in doubt if she’ve gained too much weight or being baby-fat. Then I suggest that maybe it’s because of the new hair style. That is not the Scarlett Johansson we used to see. I still miss her long hair~~

She’s addicted to that unflattering length of dress. I think what throws me about her face is the lipstick color – it’s awfully close to the same shade as her skin.
Awful hair and I agree, she looks older, which is something that anybody would like to happen. But I envy her for dating Sean Penn, 50 but still very handsome.
I never got the fuss over her looks (probably only because she’s busty) and I’ve never liked her style. She’s never dressed in a way that flatters her. And this look just makes her look old and flabby. Not flattering at all.
I’m sorry to say this but red hair with a tan looks really trashy. There is a reason why natural red-heads have pale skin.

I think she is at the edge of make up malfunction. It seems that she just came out of a botox face refreshment (with a lot of botox)

In theory this should all be fine (colour good, accessories inoffensive, pretty dress), but there’s something off.
She was incredibly lovely in her late teens/early 20s – maybe she just doesn’t have a type of beauty that translates well beyond the very, very young? Everything the past few years has been on a downward slide to matronly.

the shoes also dont compliment her skin tone. I am also fair-skinned and i only pull out the nude shoes when i have a nice spray tan on…she should do the same
