Jason Wu attended the 7th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards with his stunning guest Shala Monroque last November.
The socialite wore a Jason Wu silk chiffon gown from the designers Spring 2011 collection with a blue trademark turban.
The statuesque beauty was radiant in this fuchsia gown. Gold drop earrings and a mahogany mini bag completed her look.
Speaking of radiant, supermodel Iman wore the same dress last night to the DKMS’ 5th Annual Gala in New York City.
Her pop of colour came via her Irene Neuwirth chrysoprase, turquoise and diamond earrings.
Shala wins of me. I would have given this to Iman had she opted for a contrasting clutch.
I do love it when stars go matchy matchy, but it doesn’t work for me on this occasion.

Iman. End of story.
Agreed. Iman’s presence and the coraly pink works so well with her skin tone – the other, not so much. Iman wears the Wu, whereas, Wu wears Monroque. I am also not sold on the turban, which fights with this very showy dress – Iman lets it be about the dress, but in it, she glows.
Happy birthday!
thank you x
Didn’t like the turban.
I choose Iman everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. She looked fabulous.
iman just works her dress better
Iman hands down. The fit,the color, just perfect.
