Victoria and David Beckham have already arrived at Westminster Abbey for the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton.
As expected Victoria wore a dress from her Fall 2011 collection.
The navy dress is slightly longer than the runway version, making it event appropriate.
Whilst I’m slightly disappointed she didn’t opt for something more colourful, she does look very chic.
I’m astounded that Victoria is going to spending the day in 6in heels whilst pregnant, but our girl wouldn’t have it any other way.
A spectacular Philip Treacy hat and Victoria Beckham clutch completed her look.
As usual she represents herself and her brand with sophisticated elegance.
David looked very dapper wearing a Ralph Lauren suit 3 piece suit.
I imagine he spent a lot of time on this perfectly coiffed hair, so don’t expect to see him wearing that top hat.

so so so so impressed with her style. i was hoping she wouldnt disappoint & she didnt. i dont think this is what i was expecting but i still think she looks amazing.x
I thought her hat was up there with the other hideous hats, silly looking thing perched on the front of her head
she looks amazing omg that my idol i love victoria
Dying right now! Why can’t people dress like this every day?!!!!
As soon as I saw Victoria, I was wondering what you would think =)
For me it’s booooooring from the neck down. Her hat is wonderful, and her hair and make-up are impeccable.
Exactly! Neck up – fantastic. Neck down – navy gunne sack.
Same sentiments FB i was a little heart broken she didnt wear colour not gonna lie but the more i look at photos and see her in comparison to some of the brash colours i think she looks FABULOUS!
Im almost glad she is understated and elegant as alot of attention was going to be on what she wears! So she kept it about the bride!
Stunning!
i agree completely!!!
I agree Catherine! Victoria stays true to herself and David oh my oh my! There was a collective gasp on the first shot of their arrival Lol. They both look classy and elegant as ever. I really love this look on her.
PS- Happy Birthday Catherine!!!!!!!
thank you…trying to leave for my birthday breakfast, but between the wedding and blogging I’m going to be late
awww i’m sure there is loads of fun to have today and I hope you enjoy every moment of it!!
Absolutely chic… Minimalist look… I love what she wore… To each his/her own… She was event appropriate, but yet understated and chic… Love her…
Colour or not, smile or not.. VB proved her designs look perfectly at home among the Chanel clad royalty.. thats an achievement in itself..
True that! all her haters thought she would try to upstage the bride, but she knows how to act. I love how she keeps that bump under seal, even if we are all dying to see how big she turns ^^
she looks good (that felt like a dagger through the heart saying that) but is she serious about those shoes? i dont know if she is just going to the wedding or if she is at the reception but i just hope she sneaked a pair of ballet flats in that brick of a clutch.
the clutch is enormous, isn’t it!
Ooh today is ur bday…….HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAY TO U HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY
thank you. xxxx
Happy birthday FC – hv a fabulous day
Happy Birthday FC!
Hope you’re havin a fab one!
She looks amazing – understated chic is what she does best – altho she is wearing your dreaded dafodils – no surprise really that they were her footwear choice though. I had heard her loubs were to be custom made though
Happy Bday!! Wish you all the best things in this world xx
Victoria looks great, so sophisticated!
Yeah, I can’t focus on Victoria because of how good David looks.
Give me a few minutes for my blood to start flowing back to my brain.
I knew she was going to wear this, you have no idea how happy I am that I got it right, she looks great. Oh and happy Birthday FC, This wedding is going to take the attention off you isn’t it? lol damn Kate.
thanks Matt xx
she couuld have at least picked other heels… still hating the Daffodiles, ugly and tacky. other than that she looks beautiful.
happy birthday FC! have a wonderful day and lots of love from your fans!
thanks Alexandra…enjoying mine and Catherine’s big day x
kate middleton wore alexander mcqueen omg
Ahh, I love it. Victoria looks stunning as usual. I have to admit that I don’t really care about the wedding, but I was excited about VB’s outfit. Amazing!
The look is nice but i will NEVER like those stripper shoes. P.S Happy Birthday FC!!
thank you xx
WOW, classy as ever! Not what I expected but absolutely perfect for a ROYAL wedding!!
I’m still a bit excited that they’ve actually been invited considering some of the high prominent people that haven’t
They’ve certainly come a long way. (No WAGs in sight)
I know I’m predictable – but: Can’t she ever smile?? It’s the Royal Wedding for Pete’s sake! C’mon Vicky!
A happy birthday to you, FC!
the hat, hair and makeup are BEYOND flawless…..i didn’t do crazy about the dress in the beginning but it’s event appropriate and quite classy….by the way, a very happy birthday,FC…love your website:)
GORGEOUS!!!
happy birthday fc !!!
I thought that at this moment, she would never wear some colorful outfit since she’s pregnant and she does not want everyone see her with big belly..
Dark color is very useful in order to help her hiding it.
Happy Birthday!
posh surely knows how to accessorize: not only are her hat and shoes beyond, but her greatest accessory, david himself, did not disappoint.
happy birthday, fc!
First of all happy birthday, Catherine! Then, when I saw them arriving I thought “he’s incredibly gorgeous, really. I’ve been “in love” with him for more then 10 years… He was elegant, and smiling, and perfect. Honestly I expected something more interesting from her, it seemed she was going to a funeral, not to a wedding. I think she didn’t want to catch too much attention because she’s very interested in a “professional” relationship with the bride, so she stayed quite understated but she looks pregnant with at least 4 kids with that very wide dress and I hate those stripper shoes (I think it’s a copyright of mine
she looks so elegant. I love her hat, makeup and hair. My only complaint is about the shoes.
I think Victoria beautiful and showed appropriate restraint. I only wish she would embrace her bump and wore something a bit more tailored–an empire waist would have been so much more flattering. Shapeless dresses can work when on a stick thin woman (as Victoria normally is), but they just look like a tent on a pregnant woman.
Aw Victoria looks so classy, she wore the darker colours am sure because of being pregnant..i think she looks fab
Happy Bday FC, love your site X
I think she looks very chic. I love the outfit. I am actually glad she work navy instead of the red.
There is a dresscode to keep, (red is the colour of the mother of the bride), looking good
I don’t like the fit. A mistake that some make while trying to be fashionable and pregnant is to take a regular dress and buy a bigger size. This is what it looks like Victoria did. If you wear a size 8 in regular clothing, a maternity garment will be a size 8 but will have room in the front for a growing belly. With her access to tailors and seamstresses, her dress should have been fitted in her size everywhere else except for the belly. In my opinion, the dress is too big. I’m not saying that she should forgo fashion. I know I didn’t.
Love the hat, and she is well dressed, chic, and appropriate without being boring.
Happy birthday FC! Kudos to Victoria for being able to rock 6 inch heels!
she looks great! very appropriate
Very chic – I’m happy!
Guess I’m the only one that hates it then?
Such a happy occasion but yet no smile….. at least the fascinator or whatever looks better from the front it looked odd when viewing her profile.
These two always look chic and and nothing less than amazing. It’s as simple as that. Oh and I DIE for her Loubs!
The woman doesn’t look the least bit pregnant! Gorge!
P.S HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a blast
thank you all for your birthday wishes xxx
I was kinda hoping VB would do a bit better than this for such a so-called “big deal”. Lovely, very lovely, just not royal wedding worthy, I’d say.
Happy Birthday FC Catherine!!
I’ve only recently come around on people wearing dark colours like these to a wedding – some of the guests at my own wedding wore black and they looked great. But I really thing this is too severe for such an uplifting occasion. Even a different hairstyle or a slightly lighter colour might have helped.
In her favour though: the stunning hat, that she managed to spend the day in those heels, and David looks amazing.
I’m not sure why I like this, but I do. Now, could some one help a silly American girl out and tell me how the heck those hats are staying on their heads? Also, how do they get the hats to match exactly? Do they get extra fabric from the dressmaker or are they dyed to match like a bridesmaid’s shoes? If you counted all the hats in the Queen’s closet, how many would there be? Thanks.
I’m not 100% sure how they stay on, but they are custom made to match or complement the dress
I think she looks good but it’s not WOW. We’ve come to expect more from her.
David looks gorgeous! And of course Victoria too. (;
Omg. She can do no wrong in my world. I absolutely adore her.
I can think of 3 reasons for her not smiling at the occassion. 1)I think her shoes were not comortable and that was shown off in her facial expressions
2) She was jealous that she couldn’t marry the prince but had to settle for a womaniser
3) She was embarrassed that her husband wore the OBE on the wrong side, so tried to cover it up with stiff upper lip
