Eva Mendes attended the DKMS’ 5th Annual Gala in New York City last night.
The beautiful brunette gives us our first look at the Prabal Gurung Fall 2011 collection on the red carpet.
She opted to wear a white strapless floaty dress which has a black bandeau and is accented with a black leather waistband.
Eva opted to wear this look sans leather gloves; instead she carried a black clutch and wore those triple stack Casadei pumps.
This is a lovely romantic look with the swept up hair, Cartier ring and perfect pink lips, then you get to the pumps.
Nothing will ever make me like them. They are so heavy and weigh down every look.

Her make-up enhances her features, her hair is gorgeous, interesting details on the dress. Loving it all until the attack of the hooves. I’ve already ranted about them so I don’t want to be accused of being “boring”,lol, but golly, I truly despise those Casadeis.

the dress itself is beautiful, but her waist looks wider, and I hate those heavy shoes, and the black clutch, so I think it’s a miss.
I agree. I do not like how the dress looks on her especially the waist area. The shoes are not working either.
Eva’s fashion choices have been a little circumspect lately, and this is no exception. The heavy shoes don’t help at all.
I am thinking that maybe Prabal Gurung is not a designer that she should be wearing.
I love Prabal and I love Eva but I do not sadly love this look. I don’t even like it on the runway :/

This is just bad for me. The dress makes her looks wider than she really is.
