Lily Allen was one of the many famous faces who attended Chanel’s Fall 2011 presentation during Paris Fashion Week back in March.
There to support one of her favourite labels, the singer told the press on her way in “I’m here to see Karl for my wedding dress.”
Sitting front row, Lily wore a gorgeous modified emerald green Chanel Pre-Fall 2011 tweed coat.
She paired the coat with a LBD, Ray-Ban sunglasses, tights and black shoes but added some excitement with one killer accessory; an extremely covetable, bright red quilted Chanel bag.
Lily styled her hair into a super chic up-do and topped it off with lipstick to match her lovely bag.
Sarah Jessica Parker chose the runway version of the same coat to wear to the opening night of “Catch Me If You Can” on Broadway.
The actress styled her look completely differently to Lily, opting to wear it with a graphic black and white Oscar de la Renta cap sleeve sheath dress.
SJP added a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Luxura’ ankle strap heels, a bronze studded cuff and diamond earrings as accessories.
Loose wavy hair and smoky eyes completed her look.
My vote is going to Lily because I think she looks incredibly sophisticated and pulls her entire look together perfectly. I love that Lily focused on two amazing pieces (the coat and purse) and kept everything else in black.
I appreciate SJP’s efforts to mix and match textures, prints and colours but I think there is a little too much going on and her eye makeup is too heavy for my taste.

They both failed in presenting it well.
SJP looks way so much better than Lily to me. Her look is more natural and chic. I also appreciate Lily’s effort, because she does look amazing, but SJP blew me away.
Sarah because she put her own spin on it. Lily just went the Chanel way with it.
I have to go with Lily. I love the pops of red and her updo. I am not crazy about the dress Sarah is wearing.
SJP wins for me hands down. I like she mixed it with a printed dress and gave it a little persoanlity. I aslo love her smoky eye and full hair. Lily just makes the coat look beyond boring and lifeless.
They both look wonderful to me, but I am really swept up in Lily Allen’s look – the dark green coat, Lily’s glossy dark hair and the dramatic pop of the orange red bag really focuses everything down into a singularly delightful image for me…..
Lily Allen, SJP looks so messy.
SJP, of course.
