I was very excited to see Leighton Meester back on the red carpet.
The “Gossip Girl” actress and star of the new Vera Wang fragrance joined Vera in New York City today to light up the Empire State Building.
It was illuminated in red and white to raise awareness about DKMS, the world’s largest bone marrow donor center.
Sporting ombre hair Leighton wore a beige Vera Wang Fall 2011 sleeveless top with a Vera Wang Spring 2011 floral print skirt.
Is it me, or does Leighton look taller in this picture?
That skirt is doing wonders for her.
I love the mix of the semi casual top with the formal pencil skirt.
This look isn’t as obvious as it could’ve been, because Leighton likes to mix things up.
Brian Atwood ‘Debra’ toffee slingbacks completed her look.

She looks really pretty!! She looks so tall, she should wear pencil skirts more often. The top is from the Fall 2011 collection, she/Logan mixes the seasons very well in this look.

Loe this look. She always looks so unique, and she, unlike many stars, let alone young stars, always manages to bring sophistication, which is an attribute I miss form almost any other star’s style. I really love this skirt on her, the shoes are not boring, thankgod, they go perfectly with her outfit, I like the casual edge, the hair is actually ok for me, not her best but I like the casual and youthfullness it gives the outfit. The shirt and th ebracelet, or watch (?) were clever additions.
More celebrities need to start wearing Vera Wang, I am always so complexed as to why they dont.
I don’t like the hair and I would have preferred she worn the top on the runway with the skirt. The beige top washed her out.
This skirt with the slingback shoes really elongates her lower half – very nice….but I’m not so much liking the ombre hair : (

I would like to say I noticed her outfit first but I owuld be lying. her hairis TRAGIC. This hideous ‘ombre’ trend needs to go away asap. It looks trashy and upkept on all women. The pieces are fine. The print is pretty but as a whole nothing exciting.

I lovee it. It suits her so much, just simple, not like her attention grabbing co-stars.
She looks great but I don’t like the hair. I don’t understand all the attention for Blake Lively, when Leighton is such a stylish girl.
I love this Leighton/Vera collaboration. Hopefully as the face of the new Vera Wang fragrance, we’ll get to see more of Leighton in Vera Wang because quite honestly the red carpet could always use more Vera.
