Fan Bing Bing Unveils Her Wax Figure At Madame Tussauds Shanghai In Tadashi Shoji

Fan Bing Bing was at the Madame Tussauds in Shanghai yesterday to see the unveiling of her wax figure.

The figure wore the Dragon Robe by Laurence Hsu, which caught our attention during Cannes Film Festival last year.

This dress is definitely in her Hall of Fame, so it’s apt that her wax figure wore it.

Fan herself opted for a mustard yellow gown one shoulder Tadashi Shoji Fall 2011 gown with her hair styled the same way as her figure, although her figure has a lighter hair colour.

This is her second Tadashi Shoji Fall 2011 dress in a row on the red carpet.

This is a beautiful dress for her, she looks very elegant, even though I prefer the Dragon Robe, but I think this gown is almost unbeatable, haha. I’m surprised how well her wax figure turned out, since they look quite weird mostly.

She’s amazing, love love love her style, and both those dresses!

I’m so glad this dress was picked… its so beautiful and unique. And her figurine is so beautiful. This is good work compared to the recent Kim Kardashian disaster

Yes, I was thinking this is one of the better wax figures. The dresses are both beautiful.

I agree. They capture Fan exactly. She is the same height too

I think the same, too. The wax work of her is such a great work. At the beginning I didn’t recognize the “real”Fan Fan.

Is it an Elie Saab gown? Love the color on her!

  6. Joy April 28, 2011 at 15:31 #

So glad they chose the dragon robe, it is one of my favorite gowns EVER!!!

  7. Jones19 April 28, 2011 at 15:35 #

Wonderful waxwork, I can barely tell them apart! Gorgous dresses on both, sigh.

  8. rebecca April 28, 2011 at 15:35 #

my first thought was :diane kruger at sags

  9. Jacqueline April 28, 2011 at 15:41 #

Her gown reminds me of the one Diane Kruger wore to the SAGs (mustard Jason Wu). It’s still beautiful though!

    • Leslie April 28, 2011 at 16:19 #

I was thinking the same thing. This is a great choice of color for both of them actually. Maybe Fan pulls it off better with her darker hair.

Love the gown on the wax figue and Fan. She looks gorgeous.

  11. Weber from Brazil April 28, 2011 at 15:47 #

    OMG O.o’
this gown looks SO MUCH like the Jason Wu mustard yellow gown worn by Diane Kruger at SAG Awards 2010!
    don’t u think, Catherine??

She looks gorgeous. I really needed this because I have been falling out of love fast with Fan, but I really love thsi look. She has missed the balance of fun and elegance and simplicity recently IMO, which she always seemed so good at, so I adore this look, but I am still hoping for more couture and Laurence Hsu from her!
