Celebrity Shoe Swap: Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was spotted at the Time 100 Gala last night in safe and boring black patent platform pumps.

Her sexy Zac Posen dress needed to be worn with a playful and colourful heel.

Shoes Anna Should Have Worn

These bright pink Miu Miu lace-up booties would have completely changed Anna’s look. These heels are a risky choice, but I think it’s the kind of risk Anna needs to take to stand out when sharing the red carpet with bombshell Blake Lively.

The bold Pierre Hardy ostrich blue peep-toe pumps are a beautiful shoe choice. They perfectly contrast with the metallic sheen on her dress.

Chloé’s suede-trimmed transparent acetate pumps are some of the most darling pumps this season and my favourite choice for Anna. Ever since the adorable Elle Fanning was spotted wearing them for a feature in Interview Magazine they’ve been on my wish list!

The Jimmy Choo Quiet patent-leather pumps are a perfect match. These pumps are one of Choo’s classic styles and the colour makes them an exceptionally hot shoe.

Which shoes would you pick for Anna?

Great choices FC. I like the Pierre Hardy and Jimmy Choo shoes the most.

they all are gorgeous. I don’t think she could pull off the see through ones, so i am going with the Miu Miu

I choose the Pierre Hardy pumps, there’s something about an LBD and vibrant blue heels that gets me.

Did the runway model have a belt? I think that would have helped. The Chloe shoes would go good with the belt I’m imagining but the blue pumps would add a great POP of color.

      yes it did

I think I’d pick the Chloé pumps. They’re to-die-for and they’d look great with Anna’s dress.

Fabulous! I think we are kindred spirits in our collective loathing of the overused black pumps. They have their place in fashion, but with so many amazing choices out there, I am continually disappointed by stars playing it too safe with the black pumps. Your options are unique and would have jazzed up Anna’s outfit and made all the difference. Keep preachin and maybe these ladies will expand their shoe horizons. Love your website and your amazing fashion insight!

Hi Shoerazzi – I like your favorite choice of the Chloe pumps, but I also keep looking at those Miu Miu’s and wondering if she could pull them off……

      ditto

  8. Manja April 28, 2011 at 16:47 #

    MiuMiu for me

I actually like her all black look so I don’t care for any of these flashy choices. I would have preferred something sparkly or an animal print I think and def open toed.

Although my heart wants the Miu Mius, I think the Pierre Hardy blue shoes would look best with this LBD. Guess the Miu Mius will have to come to my house.

MIuMIu are the most beautiful but I think she couldn’t pull it off, so I say Pierre Hardy.

Either the Miu Mius or the Chloes

I would love to see how the Chloes would look with this dress! The MiuMiu’s are also gorgeous.
