Lauren Conrad didn’t quite set the red carpet alight at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party in LA last night.
Whilst I give her points for wearing a look from her own Paper Crown line – unlike former The Hills co-star Whitney Port – Lauren looked the same as she does everyday dodging the paparazzi and running errands.
She represented her collection wearing a beige silk blouse paired with a cute flared navy skirt.
Nude Christian Louboutin’s and a beige Chanel bag completed her look.
I do love the top knot and the red lippie.
The Paper Crown collection is the best so far from Lauren. I have to admit I love every piece from this wearable collection.
The collection includes faux-leather shorts, maxi skirts, chiffon dresses, blazers and sweater at prices from $69 to $400.

I love Lauren but this isn’t her best look. It’s a bit too causual for the red carpet for me. And while I do love her little bun,I have never liked red lipstick on her. Her collection however is fabulous and very wearable.
ShoeGal! I HATE red lipstick on LC too; it just screams “I’m-trying-way-too-hard!’ She should embrace the carefree California girl look that everyone loves her for.
I totally agree about the red lippie.
I think she’s just trying to dress up the casual look with hair and make up.
Too bad she didn’t pick a top from her collection to go with the skirt–would have been much cuter
Ok, I think I’ve been watching too much Royal Wedding coverage, because for some reason, LC looks like Kate Middleton to me. What’s wrong with me?????
step away from E News
Do u know if her collection is available online FC? Definately seems to be a step up from her last efforts (which wouldn’t be too hard….)
not sure. It’s part of Kohls so it maybe on their website
This collection is not part of Kohls
it´s her own
The outfit is too casual for a nightime event. Her makeup looks bad, foundation is too light and red lippy never looks good on her
I love all her collection.. Too bad I don’t think I can find it in my country.. n yeah it’s totally too casual for a night event..
Her mouth looks very strange.
She didn’t design the collection. Chloe, Stella, E&J and O.C. all designed for her….. They just didn’t know
Lol….
Her “collection” looks exactly like what you can find in Mango, Zara and Reiss (also inspired by Celine, Chloe etc etc). She never designs anything, all she ever does is copy what’s already out there.
There is cute stuff in the collection, although i don’t think it’ll be available in my country, like someone already said above. It may be just like what she wears normally, but I think I like it anyway.
I think she could have chosen something else to wear that was less casual.
No, no, no to everything about this girl and her outfit.
Whoa when did LC turn 40? She looks a bit aged…
Although I like the collection, it’s probably like someone said up there: she didn’t exactly design it – not because she’s not capable, I guess, but because she likes things that are already out there and she replicates them. I think we can probably find at least one picture of her wearing the exact same outfit as each one of the looks on this lookbook.
I adore her, and I adore her style, but I think she’d be better off trying to do styling then designing. She’s good at putting stuff together, not creating them.
