It’s been a very long while since I last featured Jessica Simpson on the red carpet, but she made a return at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party in LA last night.
Jessica opted for an Etro printed dress from the Spring 2011 collection.
The printed mini dress was worn without the pants which were presented on the runway to create a cute sassy look.
Jessica added a gold clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti La Rocque wedges to complete her look.
Surprisingly I don’t hate it; for once she doesn’t appear to have been wedged into the dress.
I do however wish she’d worn her hair up or stood tall because she looks like she doesn’t have a neck.

I’m impressed. She does look so much better, as the dress actually fits! Now if she’d only do something w/ those ratty extensions…
Colorful dress. It would look so much better on her if it didn’t have that white/grayis print on her chest(it emphasizes it too much), and if the neck were V-shaped. Also, flesh colored sandals would have been perfect to elongate her legs.
She looks happy and confident,I’ll stop nitpicking.
She looks alright. I do not like her hair.
She does look cute here but for someone who won the ‘Style Icon’ Award (?????) of the evening you would expect more.

I love Jess. I think so many girls can relate to her and her image. She doenst pretend to be anything than she is. I love her shoes and clothes. I wish her best of luck in whatever she does in her career.
I hate the hair, but this is a huge improvement for Jess, as in, she doesn’t look entirely tragic, and instead, looks kind of cute.
Wow she is looking great again! I think the dress is cute and looks really nice on her body. Love her hair and makeup. Jessica sticks to what SHE likes and I have always liked that about her.
It’s still not a brilliant choice for her (as has been widely noted, broad shoulders + big boobs + no neck = v-neckline should be her friend), but big points for improvement of fit and because the colours are nice on her.
Oh but she did say that her best feature her long(!) neck is, so she surely dress to show it of. That explain the “amazingness” of her style as we all know it….
she is standing tall, i believe. jessica’s problem is that like me, she has a short, compact torso and neck. she needs to wear slightly lower necklines than the one she’s got or v necks to lengthen it

that print just makes her look so much wider than she is. seriously someone needs to get a stylist or she should fire the one she already has if she does have one.
