Alexis Bledel attended the Coach Benefit for the Children’s Defense Fund at Bad Robot in Santa Monica, California last night.
She opted for a sophisticated look teaming a black Acne sleeveless top with an Etro black and white geometric print beaded skirt from the Spring 2011 collection.
A Coach Kristin embossed python crossbody bag, simple black patent ballet pumps and a pop of colour to the lips completed her look.
Whilst I do like this look, it doesn’t have the same sparkle her looks had last week.

I much prefer the runway look here. I like the white top,belt,and shoes much better. They give a simple look alot of personality. It makes Alexis’s look a bit frumpy and dull in comparison :/

I wish Alexis had copied the runway look. I think it would have been really flattering on her. Standing up straight would help too.
I love this look. I actually love the black top on her, but it’s just ill-fitting or either this photo caught her in an unflattering pose.
she looks gorgeous nonetheless but i totally agree that the runway version would’ve been much better. she has amazing eyes…can’t stop pointing that out.
the black blouse looks bad on her, and she has a pear shaped body, so the patterns on teh skirt needed something to balance it off on top. I agree the top from the runway would have looked much better.

A complete fail. She should have just ripped the runway. The tucked in white blouse with the belt would have given her some shape. As it is, she loooks square in the middle. What also isn’t helping is that she is not owning the look.
Yip the runway look is so much better….
