Fan Bing Bing In DSquared2 – DSquared2 Beijing Store Opening

DSquared2 opened their first store in Beijing last night, and Fan Bing Bing was there to help designers Dan Caten and Dean Caten celebrate their success.

The Asian beauty wore a pink DSquared2 Swarovski button coat which she teamed with an exquisite pearl necklace. I’m not sure she needed the necklace with this coat, but it’s stunning nonetheless.

Her other accessories included beige pumps and a pink striped clutch.

Fan Bing Bing gave us another look at one of her many wigs.

The black bob wig has a 20s flapper feel to it, which I’m guessing is the reason she added the pearls.

She just has that charm and presence that whenever I see a post of her, I just can’t help but smile :)

Just love this girls style…there’s never a dull moment and in that get up and wig she’s a better Jackie Kennedy than Katie Holmes!

    Sooo cute.

She’s gorgeous. She looks like a Chinese Audrey Hepburn somehow. :)

      I thought the same thing.

Barbie dress-up? Performance art? Alter egos, multiple personalities? Whatever she’s doing these days, I’m enjoying the whole melange of it…..

She is adorable, and I love both the wig and pearls. She definitely has a Jackie Kennedy look to her.

(I know Asian names are written differently so what is her first name?)

    • Victoria April 21, 2011 at 11:35 #

Hi Sharon, her first name would be Bing Bing. In Chinese, the surname comes first. :)

      • Sharon April 21, 2011 at 22:45 #

Thanks. We’re on a first-name basis with so many of the celebs when we talk about their clothing, and I’ve never been sure if I’m calling the Asian women by their first or last name. :)

Love the coat–but is there a real person in there somewhere?

    • sonia April 21, 2011 at 22:31 #

Actually… no! This is her “copy” for the wax museum!!! ;-)

I really wish I didn’t feel the need to say this, but to be hoenst I am falling steadily out of love with her. I get she is having fun with fashion, and whilst I appreciate that I cannot look past the fact she looks so different from cannes, and the elegance she had there is begining to fade. I love the coat, but the styling, the hair especially is ruining it. I honestly thought I would always think of her as perfection, but Hopefully she will return to her, in my eyes, former glory.

I understand what you are saying, but 2 weeks of her wearing Elie Saab Couture during Cannes Film Festival will cure your hangover ;)

    • ahot April 21, 2011 at 10:04 #

please don’t forget that couture can not be worn everywhere just because one got access to it. When the award season comes she will certainly wear great gowns. I think she’s still very elegant, since it’s a state of mind not a matter of styling.(& that’s the reason why we all do worship Cate Blanchett)

Hannah, I completely agree with you. These days, even when I somewhat like her “fun” with fashion, I am always thinking she should have taken one thing off and in many cases more than one thing.

I love this on her. She has the confidence and personality to pull it off without looking like she’s dressing up for Halloween.
