Miriam Yeung In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2011 Hong Kong Film Awards

Miriam Yeung wore another Couture look at the2011 Hong Kong Film Awards.

Her second look was a stunning Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture gown.

The multi-coloured gown with a tired skirt was worn with a gorgeous diamond necklace.

We’ve had a 100% success rate with the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture collection on the red carpet.

Nicole Kidman and Rihanna have both worn looks from this collection beautifully.

I think both Miriam’s looks were outstanding.

So which look would you like to see up for BDOTW?

Stéphane Rolland Couture or Jean Paul Gaultier Couture?

In love with this look and this collection hope to see more of this collection on the red carpet not on Lady Gaga but maybe Cannes or the Met Ball

So do I, I feel there are many collection that are not worn, this one included, because of the fact they are too risky, the runway styling isn’t as ‘red carpet’, or because there are brand which are pretty much always a known success, like Marchesa or Oscar de la Renta. Fingers crossed.

I feel the same way about the John Galliano FW11 collection. I may not like what the man did or said but the gowns from that collection and I could see a lot of celebs wearing the gowns.

The Stéphane Rolland Couture look for BDOTW.

One of the things I love about Asian stars is when they wear a look, whether it’s ready to wear or couture, they own it. Despite their small frame, the dress never looks overwhelming on them and they always look like they are 6 feet tall.

    i love the colours.

Love the color and the pattern. KInda feel like it overwhelms her b/c she’s so tiny … may be just the camera angle, though.

She looks divine. I think put this up for BDOTW!

  7. Paulidoodles McL April 19, 2011 at 13:11 #

Jean Paul Gaultier is my BDOTW!!!

  8. Hannah April 19, 2011 at 13:17 #

MY heart just started pounding, I actually for once gave a huge intake of air when i saw this. She looks incredible. This IMO is the best jean paul gaultier look on the red carpet fo the three. Please, PLEASE put both up, BDOTW has been a littl equiet recently in terms of drop dead gorgeous looks, and to have two in one week, regardless if they are from teh same person, I think, you should put both up. Besides, they are very different.

    This is BDOTW

  10. Victoria April 19, 2011 at 13:23 #

Jean Paul Gaultier for me! I like the colours on this one more. :) It’s more interesting.

  14. rebecca o April 19, 2011 at 14:20 #

I prefer this dress, but she look better in the black gown.

  15. Chloé April 19, 2011 at 14:21 #

    Beautiful, I love it.

I choose Stéphane Rolland Couture. I think this is a great dress, but maybe not on her. It looks like maybe it’s a little too big for her or something is just not right about the fit.

  18. dee April 19, 2011 at 16:15 #

This gown looks a little too big in the bodice.

  19. mol April 19, 2011 at 16:21 #

Unless it’s a really strong week, I think both looks should be on the BDOTW list, but if, in the end, there is room for only one, then I pick the Stephane Rolland Couture….

  20. A April 19, 2011 at 16:42 #

Oh definitely this JPG for BDOTW! <3

    BDOTW for sure!

  23. Carrie April 19, 2011 at 17:05 #

OBSESSED with this!!! The colors are stunning. I love the way they blur. She was very regal in the SR but the Jean Paul makes her a unique and stunning stand-out. A++++

  24. HP April 19, 2011 at 20:44 #

Definitely the Gaultier! The colors and textures are amazing!

  25. rawda April 19, 2011 at 21:01 #

as exquisite as this JPG can be, my vote goes to stephane rolland. i loved that dress.

She looks beautiful! Its really hard to chose but I thnk I like the Stephane Rolland Couture better. This gown is so beautiful on her too… Would it be too greedy to have both up for BDOTW?

BTW, does anyone know the name of the man next to her?
