Last week Marchesa Co-Founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig hosted an intimate evening to showcase their latest bridal and tableware collections at The Apthorp building in New York City.
They were joined by Olivia Munn, Courtney Love, Ann Dexter-Jones, Sanaa Lathan, Mary Alice Stephenson, Natalie Von Bismarck and Arden Wohl.
Pieces from Marchesa’s tabletop collaboration with Lenox were displayed in chic settings throughout the gorgeous private residence, as were gowns from the recently debuted Fall 2011 Bridal collection.
Georgina and Keren were of course in Marchesa. Mary Alice Stephenson opted for a bold green Lanvin dress.
Olivia Munn wore a black Marchesa dress with the same laser cut details we saw on Amy Adams’ Golden Globe Awards gown.
Actress Sanaa Lathan looked very elegant in a nude dress, whilst Courtney Love opted for a head to toe black look which was accented with a bejeweled bib necklace.

What a refreshigly well dressed event! Ironically my absolute, by a mile, best dressed is Mary Alice Stevenson, I adore her as a stylist (i wish Liv Tyler would go back to her, they worked beautifully togehter), and i am not surprised she picked such a gorgeous dress, accessorized well adn actually pulled off a lanvin dress. Olivia munn looks nicer than usual, thank god, because i always find her bland and pretty generic with how she dresses. The black pumps and Mischa bartons wearing off it killed georgina chapman’s dress, and the expression on Keren’s face standing next to Courtney love is incredible. Clearly the memories of her wearing what could have been a stunning blueish embellished strapless and partially sheer gown being ruined in one foul swipe by courtney are cmign back.
Beautiful collection! Marchesa, Elie Saab, Armani, Atelier Versace can never let me down as every collection is so stunning.
Those are all my favorite designers, so don’t mind I say that you have excellent taste.
Georgina Chapman is a great designer. As for Courtney Love- I liked her style in the mid 90s when she made those babydoll dresses popular. But now adays she just goes back and forth between looking like a mess and then suddenly trying to look like a lady. It’s just boring now.
I want that lace wedding gown…any other 5’11 girls out there who want to split the cost? I would just wear it around the house and dream

Georgina’s dress is way way to loud! loud regardless of event, but in this context, it’s pulling the focus away from the tableware collection.
