I have been waiting for a look from the Stéphane Rolland Spring 2011 Couture collection to be showcased on the red carpet ever since I attended the show back in January.
My wait is finally over as Miriam Yeung attended the 2011 Hong Kong Film Awards last night wearing an amazing sculptural gown.
I surprised at how this gown with a gold detail on the hip doesn’t appear to overwhelm her. She totally owns it and looks very comfortable.
Whilst I’m happy to see this look on the red carpet, I’m sad that this now mean there’s less chance of Cate or Tilda wearing it.
Thankfully there are many more amazing pieces from this collection for them to choose from.

Actor Nicholas Tse arrived with his wife actress Cecilia Cheung. He was decked out in a white suit with silver shoes, whilst she wore a black Jonathan Saunders for Lulu & Co. maxi dress with an ombre silk front panel.

Josie Ho looked amazing in this vibrant purple Haider Ackermann Spring 2011 dress which she wears with the leather runway belt. She accessorized with a gold clutch and black platforms Christopher Kane heels with a pink trim. We don’t seen enough of Haider Ackermann on the red carpet.

Tang Wei looked breath-taking wearing a red tiered Escada Resort 2011 gown. Her plunging gown was accessorized with stunning silver jewels which didn’t overwhelm her look.

Simon Yam and Angelica Lee posed together on the red carpet. Angelica wore a floral print Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 maxi print dress with white lace appliqués. This dress has already been worn by Kate Bosworth.

Zhou Xun didn’t let the pouring rain dampen her spirits. She still hit the red carpet wearing a strapless Chanel Spring 2011 dress. Her delightful dress was embellished with feathers and colourful details. Gold platform heels completed her look.

Singer Li Yuchun stepped out of the box and stayed true to her style wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 ensemble. The red and white look which included a red striped skirt and a red leather vest was teamed with red converse.

Wow! Miriam is another early BDOTW contender–stunning and daring–you are right, she looks entirely comfortable in that amazing dress.
very beautiful dresses!
Honestly, you could put them all up for BDOTW and it’d be a worthy competition. This is one of the best dressed events I’ve seen in a long time.
agree!
the best gown i think is Liu jialing and Zhouxun
but make me little disappoint is that Fan bingbing haven’t attend this Award and let me looking forward to her perfect look in Cannes
The only look I am not crazy about is Tang Wei. The bust doesn’t seem to be fitting right but everyone else is fabulous.
Miriam gown are breath taking and this what i call couture, and not that many couture dress who look so RTW.
Nicholas with the belt she would look so much better.
Don’t you mean Cecilia?
What a variety of designers. Unfortunately nobody blew me away.
Oh thank god, I was worried afte rbeing so let down after the past two asian red carpet events, this totally redeems them for me. I lvoe the Stephane rolland look, CAte or Tilda would have killed it, but Miriam puts a different spin on it, I lvoe how she uses it as a backdrop for her earrings! His clothes na dHaider’s are so underworn on the red carpet I have to agree, always so beautiful and they clearly look gorgeous on the red carpet. The esada reminds me of rihanna way back when (the hair!) atthe glamour awards in Stephane Rolland.
BdotW-nod for Li Yuchun.
It’s absolutely one of the most refreshing looks we’ve seen in a while.
I adore it!
Miriam & Zhou are my favorites here!
Totally. That Stéphane Rolland is amazing. Want!
WOW! Just, WOWZA!!! Miriam looks a-mazing in that gown! WHERE IS FAN?!?! Where is sheeee?!?! Zhou also looks great.
I’m sorry, but the last look makes me think of Ronald McDonald’s…
Miriam Yeung and Cecilia Cheung look stunning!
