We’ve seen the winter white trend. This week we saw celebrities like Olivia Palermo, Vanessa Hudgens, Gwyneth Paltrow and Robin Penn showcasing Spring white looks.
Leslie Mann kick started the trend in a bohemian Dolce & Gabbana maxi dress.
Robin Wright and Vanessa Hudgens sported sexy masculine white suits whilst Olivia Palermo sparkled like tinker bell on the red carpet in Marchesa.
The LWDs continued with Arielle Kebbel, Eve and Gwyneth Paltrow. Thankfully no one paired their looks with white heels.
Cameron Diaz took a more laidback approach pairing her Theyskens’ Theory jacket with white Vince Denim cropped skinny jeans, proving that a LWD isn’t the only way to achieve a wonderful spring white look. It worked well enough to land her in contention for BDOTW.
White is showing that it’s one of Spring’s major trends.
As each beauty displayed, white can be done in various forms. Glam, minimal or casual; a LWD in the evening is the perfect juxtaposition to its sister LBD this summer. White jeans for a casual stroll or a perfectly tailored pantsuit for a bold head-to-toe look; white is showing its just as hot as colour-blocking.
Just be careful or if you’re clumsy like me, invest in a Tide Bleach Pen.
