Yesterday at London’s O2 Arena, Kylie Minogue celebrated the end of her successful Aphrodite Tour with a wrap party.
That party also incorporated the unveiling of the Lexus CT 200h – Kylie is the face of the brand.
Her partnership with Lexus is official unlike her status as unofficial ambassador for YSL.
The Australian Pop Princess hardly ever leaves home with wearing or carrying YSL.
On this occasion she opted for a black strapless YSL Resort 2011 dress with white frill detailing.
Her black and white dress was teamed with chic suede red pumps.
Whilst I love the dress, I would’ve preferred the dress to be solid black.
I would’ve also loved the solid black version to be accented with a red belt, as showcased by Salma Hayek.
Silver jewelery and a sexy top knot completed Kylie’s look.
Solid or with frill?

Actually I think I like the accented frills better than the solid w/ a belt look. Possibly a very skinny red belt would have worked w/ this but overall I like the look.
I think the white lifts it and stops the dress from being just anothe LBD. she looks so much better when she covers her knees.
I wish the dress was fitted more to her hips like how it looks on the model.
With frill for sure
I LOVE the black&white dress. It adds a touch of personality to the look. The fit and cut are perfect. I am not in love with her shoe choice but I like the dress enough to not hold it against her.
I was beginning to think that I’m the only one who doesn’t like her shoe chioce…
I like it. Best Dressed.
I think the look is nice but her face gets weirder.
i think i prefer the solid too.
black and white combo like that can come across as matrony …
but i like the black and white without the belt, or it would have been too much …
I disagree that it would be better i solid black. Without the white, the frills, which are so cute, would just fade into the background. The dress looks adorable.
I love the colour combination. Black, white and red are always chic when worn together, and the frills add a playful, girly touch.
Pro frill! It adds a little something extra.
Frill with a belt would have looked fab.
I love this dress on Kylie, it is really different from her. I wish she had worn different shoes, though. i have to say, though, I really love her in a not mini dress.
I definitely love the frills and would add a red belt. The white touches add a bit of pizazz and the frills would get lost otherwise. I love the color choice of shoe, but don’t like the shoe choice.
I like it as she’s worn it – I think a belt would have been too much, and the cute details would be lost without the white edging.
This dress has a strange fit on her. She looks boxy. I think that she should have worn the runway version with a slimmer fit.
