You’ll find Tamu McPherson outside nearly every fashion show during Fashion Week (Month) with fellow Street Style Bloggers, Tommy Ton, Hanneli Mustaparta and Garance Doré.

Like Hanneli and Garance, she is the subject of other street style photographers.

It’s very common to see Tamu taking someone’s picture, whilst someone else is taking her picture, as Tommy Ton has captured her above.

The New Yorker who lives in Milan is not only a photographer, but she’s also the recently appointed Online Editor of Grazia.it, plus she has her own blog All the Pretty Birds, which focuses on the majesty of individual street style.

Her blog is updated every day with photos of fashionistas on the streets of Milan, but this post focuses on her style.

I first met her two seasons ago at Aquilano.Rimondi Fall 2010 show. I was taken by her warmest, kindness and engaging personality. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with her every season.

During Fall 2011 Fashion Week, Tamu was spotted in New York, London, Milan and Paris keeping warm outside shows waiting for her subjects wearing her favourite camel coat.

She would match the look with other camel pieces like a sweater, a blazer and cropped pants, and she would add bright pieces like her striped Prada skirt, a neon yellow Miu Miu dress, an orange purse and bright green Miu Miu pumps or animal print sandals.

Tamu has a wide variety of stylish headwear from Fedora’s, to floppy hats to chic turbans.

Despite Street Style Blogging requiring many hours on your feet and rushing from venue to venue, Tamu does it in style wearing Christian Louboutin Pigalle’s. I love how comfortable and stylish she always manages to look. Those green cargo Valentino for Gap pants with ruffled pockets are so cute.

Tamu may not have an office whilst working on the cobbled sidewalks in Milan, but she was dressed in a sharp striped navy suit outside Gucci’s Fall 2011 presentation. Her black floppy hat kept the sunlight from her eyes so she could easily spot her next stylish subject.

A gold turban worn slightly off centre is the perfect complement to her animal print fur coat.

I love how she’s taking street-style up a notch, both behind and in front of the camera.
