We’ve had the ‘Birkin’, the ‘Stam’, the ‘Alexa’ and the ‘Victoria.’ Now we have the ‘Emmy’ bag.
Emmy Rossum attended the Elie Tahari launch of her ‘Emmy’ bag in New York City last night.
The ‘Emmy’ bag was designed by actress for Elie Tahari in order to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the bag to the charity organization, ‘Safe Horizon’.
Emmy opted for a head-to-toe Elie Tahari Spring 2011 look for her big launch, pairing a black blazer with an Elie Tahari Neely knit tank plus a sexy gold Elie Tahari Francesca metallic pleated skirt.
She accessorized with a gold statement necklace and feather detailed Elie Tahari peep-toes.

I LOVE this look on the runway but she destroyed it on the red carpet. The shoes and necklace are far too much. The gold skirt is enough on it’s on. No need to over accessorize like this.
You forgot my favourite “named after” bag- the Alexa (I’m not a huge Alexa Chung fan, but I do love her name-sake bag!)
I agree Shoegal, the skirt looked so much chicer styled under the jacket on the runway
Ah yes, thanks.
I love the look of this bag.
First of all I love the skirt. I love gold, metallic fabrics and pleated clothes. She chose the wrong accessories, the necklace was useless and I prefer the runway shoes. Also, who believes that she designed the bag (which is cute), she just put her name and the face, I don’t like this kind od advertising.
Very nice look, well put together! The bag is cute
I like that she toned down the shine on the dress with the dark blouse and jacket.
The bag reminds me of the Fendi Spy Bag.
She looks gorgeous! Chic and not over the top. Amazing!
I really like this look – Emmy seems to be getting prettier and more stylish the older she gets!
