Jennifer Garner opted for a sophisticated look at the “Arthur” New York Premiere, which was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre last night.
The yummy mummy wore an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2011 ensemble.
Her look included a charcoal cashmere silk long sleeve knit top with an embroidered pencil skirt.
This may not be a big ball-gown or a slinky dress, but I get the feeling that this was a more relaxed type of premiere.
I do however wish Jen had opted for more colour accessories to pop against the charcoal as styled on the runway.
That mustard belt with matching shoes really adds more oopmh the look.
Jennifer wore black Casadei triple stacked pumps (you can tell she’s a Rachel Zoe client) and Cartier jewels to complete her look.

I prefer the runway version
Jennifer is looking fab, but as you said she does really need that pop of color to bring everything to life
Ditto!
I agree with you FC, the look would have been a bit more interesting with a pop of the yellow belt. I think wearing a jumper on the red carpet, needs something a little different.
I need color. I think Zoe is playing so safe…
A red shoe/red belt would have been great!
She looks HOT, but I soooo wish she had worn the runway accessories!!!
it looks extremely boring without any colour.
She should have worn the yellow accesories or either red or some color. This is too safe and not special enough for a film premiere.
I agree with the general sentiment that it’s not bad, but a pop of colour would have made it so much better. I like the mustard, but cobalt or orange would work too.
I love Jennifer Garner, but I think she looks like she’s wearing the soccer mom version of a beautiful sophisticated outfit. She would have looked terrific styled like the runway model.
I love her hair…sigh…oh yes the outfit, looks okay but a bit drab compared to the runway version.
