Dame Helen Mirren lit up the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the New York Premiere of her new movie, “Arthur.”
The Brit actress opted for yet another Lanvin look, this time from the Resort 2011 collection.
Her look included a cream silk tuxedo blouse with pearl buttons, which she paired with an ecru taffeta skirt which was accented with a grey grosgrain sash tied to the waist.
Complementary Lanvin accessories included a ‘Popla’ eggshell leather clutch and a pearl-crystal-tulle bib necklace.
Shimmering pink lips, a grey shawl and pear-shaped earrings completed the great Dame’s look.

LOVE this woman and the dress. The necklace is fabulous but I think it would’ve been better with another dress; the collar competes with it and makes her neckline look funny.
Oh fabulous! The skirt is incredible. Not sure about the accessories – I am on the fence regarding the necklace and the clutch doesn’t work.
She looks stunning!!! I love her entire look!!
BDOTW for sure.
I think she always looks elegant!!!
Class personified
The necklace is so fabulous. Despite pale hair colour she always pulls off muted tones brilliantly.
Elegant, she doesn’t look her age.
I like her here but the necklace is totally nonsense with the shirt. She could save it for another outfit.
hate the shawl, it makes look alot older. the necklace would have been alright if the collar was over it instead. she does look good though.
i wonder how it would have looked with the shirt more unbuttoned and the necklace under it …
I would like this more if she opened the shirt u p ore to have the necklace on her skin. OR either loose the necklace altogether. She still looks beautiful though.
Urgh she makes me want to cry, how does she always get it so right? This is probably my favourite ever Dame Helen look, I love her, lanvin and necklaces like that, so this was a match made in heaven for me! Looooove!
Normally I love Helen and she very rarely looks grandma-ish, but this is one occasion where she is. The high neck and pintuck detail on the blouse are not flattering for her.
I think this is a rare misstep from the divine Helen – the primly buttoned blouse and blousy skirt are a bit ‘madam of the whorehouse in the wild west’ for me.
Colour is good and hair is lovely, though.
I sure wish I’d taken better care of myself so I’d look like Helen now. What a stunning woman and wearing yet another beautiful dress. She is just lovely in these neutral colors. I like all the bijoux hanging from the necklace, but the chain seems kind of heavy looking. Otherwise she’s perfect.
