I knew the rest of Cate Blanchett’s editorial with Harper’s Bazaar Australia would be just as breath-taking as the cover.
The Australian actress wears Romance Was Born throughout the editorial which was shot by Will Davidson.
She tells Harper’s Bazaar that the fashion friendship is evolving into a collaboration set for the stage.
Cate has invited Romance Was Born to design the costumes for the upcoming production Edward Gant’s Amazing Feats of Loneliness, written by award-winning Scottish playwright Anthony Neilson.
I wonder if she will also wear the Australian designers on the red carpet too.
You can read her interview with Harper’s Bazaar at HarpersBazaar.com.au.

I knew the full length version of the cover would look amazing.

I can’t get over how much I am in awe of this woman. I hope to see a lot more of Romance Was Born in the future. These outfits look just made for women like Queen Cate, and I can see Diane Kruger wearing these beautiful dresses too.
Her flawlessness is just too much to handle FML…!
We are simply not worthy… *bows down to this radiant beauty*
Hollywood doesn’t make glamorous stars like this anymore.
What a stunning woman, she exudes style, elegance and intelligence – a formidable combination.
Her poses are interesting – makes me think of a classic stage actress…….love Cate as always and Romance was Born seems to make clever and beautiful clothes….wish I could be in Sidney to see the play they are designing costumes for.
stunning!
i know I’m in the minority, but I just feel very “meh” about these pictures. Normally I love just about everything she does and wears
Gorgeous. Love Cate.
The cover is really a piece of art!
She looks fabulous, but I am so over the parted lips look in every photo.
The first gown is exquisite. A little McQueenish but still stunning. I’m a sucker for embroidery and high neckline
Still hate that lace dress. For me it’s Dior gone wrong. Considering the fact that I haven’t liked Dior since 2008 this dress is tragic
amazing.
Speechless. I adore her.
she can do no wrong.
Gorgeous! I so love the long version of the cover dress. I really hope that I find a copy here in london!
I’m still dubious about Romance was Born as RC wear although it’s brilliant on Cate in an editorial context, and I bet their costumes will be stunning – I may have to renew my acquaintance with the theatre here in Sydney.
